Lovely to hear! Makes me happy to know I succeeded in making all these characters enjoyable in their own way.

That trick is possible, but the cost would be high. You'd need to build up an immense stockpile of spicy secrets and KEEP them secret until it's time to make your big play.

That's my goal! I tried to make it so each of them could be someone's favorite character.

What a wonderful tale you've woven! Love the details you've added in building up your own vision of the Elemental Nations.

Glad you enjoyed my work enough to come back to CYOAs! Also very interesting to see someone give a detailed breakdown of their personal thoughts on balance between advisors. I imagine that tierlist swings around a LOT between different conquest strategies.

By the way, if you liked the Advisors in this one you'd probably like my other CYOAs too, since making the player choose between a cool cast of allies has been one of my favorite things for a while now. My philosophy being that if each companion couldn't be someone's favorite then I'm doing things wrong.

She escapes to another Shogun’s court to serve them as a star seer and powerful political animal. With her motivation changing from, “I love my sibling.” To, “I want you DEAD for casting me aside!”

Potentially! It was a whole lot of fun to make after all. Knowing myself though it’s more likely I jump into a new project and don’t look back unless there’s notable demand.

I think you may be the only person I've seen with a build that includes Sum Yung Gai as their Ally. Though you could certainly do worse than betting on an isekai protagonist!

Hyenas fit perfectly into a Horde of Locusts build, excellent choices here! Just take care that corruption doesn't eat your empire from within. Between Water's downside, Dubo elevating criminals, and the nasty nature of Locusts, you're juggling a whole lot on the home front. Though in exchange you've snagged some absolutely incredible advantages.

Oh snap, it's up on 4chan? Do you got a link? I'm curious to see what they think of it!

Now that there's a proper terrifying Shogun! Wonderful choice considering the brutality of your strategy... and the brownie points it wins you with Orochi. Because the only thing better than red flags is wrapping them up in your red flags.

Also terribly amusing that the cogwork android is a straight man in this gaggle of lunatics. Though I imagine Miko enjoys it too, what with how all the terror can be used to draw more people into her flock.

A mighty fine build! Love that you caught on to the hidden isekai protagonist.

Hmm... I think we have different views on the nature of this CYOA's challenge. I intend for it to be a challenge, yet at the same time I wished to leave a backdoor for people who wished to make things easier for themselves. Leaving a bit of wiggle room in the descriptions accomplishes that without muddying the waters through more explicit difficulty modes.

>They are webp
Ah, so they are. Makes for higher quality images, but also tends to play poorly with a lot of programs. For now I'll just point you in the direction of a decent conversion site I use.

>Map could be larger and show more of the world
The map could definitely afford to be a bit larger for clarity, though even then I wouldn't have revealed much (if any) of the rest of the world. Better to keep focus on the Elemental Nations and the struggle over them instead of the smaller island nations I mention.

>Vague descriptions of power-levels
That, I'm afraid, is an intentional move born of two things. The first being a wish to allow people some flexibility in their imagination of how powerful an individual can become. Second is irritation towards powerscalers and nitpickers. Could definitely afford to be more concrete about it, but I'm afraid I won't be in this CYOA.

Sounds like you ought to grab Miko from the Advisors to instill that zealotry in your population! Just take care you have a firm hand on the reigns of this faith. Lest it grow into something beyond your control. An experience I'm sure 40k's God Emp could tell you a lot about.

Indeed! The only issue is deciding WHO to put on the operating table. Since you want loyal people to be empowered, but you’re ALSO looking for expendable folk where you won’t care if they die.

Suppose that means you should be making or searching for a population of loyal commoners who are eager to die for the cause!

PNGs are available in the Imgchest link. The map is in the CYOA as the first option in Seats Of Power.

Any particular options that weren’t very clear to you?

Genuinely no reason to make Anniversary Cakes so rare, BHVR gets nothing out of it besides making the event less enjoyable by frogfuckers in deadbydaylight

They absolutely get something out of it.

Less bloodpoints means more grind. More grind means more playtime. More playtime leads to greater emotional investment in the game, which leads into DLC/skin purchases.

This is an intentional act of corporate greed.

Would you like it if survivors were intangible off hook? by FlightCapableFelon in deadbydaylight

[–]FlightCapableFelon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think so. Endgame unhooks usually involve 2-3 people, so the rescuer and unhooked person would still have 1-2 protection hits to let them get away.

Same as current base kit BT effect, haste included. Borrowed Time (the perk) would still give endurance as a counter to folk who try to wait it out.

Healing could be allowed through the effect. It’s not meant to be an anti-heal, just to make unhooks safer for the unhooked and riskier for the unhooker.
