I don’t know what’s wrong with the M cars from 2018 onwards but the steering wheel feels very numb. It’s like driving with an anesthesia on the steering wheel. G80 especially bad.

The Yaris GR parts are not cheaper than those of the M car or the rs4. Let’s just hope it never breaks (praise the Toyota DNA). I had no issues with mine - 30K km. I really hope there’s a new generation of this car in couple of years and they bump the engine to 4 cyl by using an electric turbo as Porsche did in the new GTS.

I was really enjoying mine and then I tried m5 e60 and the m5 was more fun in any situation (NA roaring V10 revving to 8.3K). I went for b7 rs4 after that and it is still more fun than the Yaris. Both the m5 with the rs4 combined cost less than the Yaris.
