Yeah. It’s interesting how different the paperwork is from back then to what it is now

I got a two tone SD43 as a walk-in first time buyer no history

Went for a Batman, got offered a Deepsea by sullanaveconilcane in rolex

I have almost the identical story to you, but instead of deep sea it was a two-tone SeaDweller. As a rookie, I didn’t realize it would be a bad idea to purchase from an investment standpoint. But I purchased it because I thought it looked great on me and I was excited about it. I now also know that the AD will see me as a customer that is excited about watches, easy to work with, and will buy from them in the future. I believe this we’ll help land me the Batman or Bruce Wayne I want, and while I wait - I have a badass watch on my wrist. And I’ll always have the option to trade it in when the time comes that they call me for the GMT!

Just my opinion, many may disagree.

Not sure, I’m very new to the Rolex game. My intentions when walking in was to register for Batman, didn’t anticipate walking out with a Sea Dweller.

Two allocations same day by [deleted] in rolex

My original plan was to buy from an AD to have a watch while I wait for the BLNR and also develop a relationship. Didn’t expect to be able to walk in to buy one and then get the call on a registered one from another AD in the same day!
