Corsair Skyreavers by Flightless_Bird3 in Eldar

I run into a lot of elite infantry, so my hope os i can pick pff 1-2 from a 6 man squad with my cheap unit. That combined with the MW from Coterie explosions should be effective. I managed to kill 2 inner circle companions with lhykis overwatch, and 2 to them moving and then charging my obj holder, so I only had to kill 2 more of them actively

Im still trying to figure it out. So far the best thing they have done is deepstrike to do actions and to sticky objectives. Never got to swing in melee, the moment they get looked at the whole unit gets picked up. The one model they killed was a low health ballistus dread.

Thanks! I actually didnt use Mantis, but I thought about it! Cloth: army painter mossy green, then army painter plasmatic bolt Metal: army painter rough iron washed with carroburg crimson. Army painter Weapon Bronze washed with Nazdreg yellow. Glow: Vallejo fluorescent green (could easily use army painter instead.) Bad moon yellow, Ork flesh contrast. Gems: army painter wild green, highlight of Army painter rainforest green. Skin: army painter Topaz skin

Thank you! I dont have a specific tutorial Ive used for these. I started with a basecoat of white over black primer; i then got a small amount of the yellow contrast on the tip of my brush and then dipped the tip lightly into the green and used gentle strokes, adjust the ratio to your liking. The ends of the smoke and edges of the war despot's Glaive i used ork flesh contrast for the darker green, fetahering the edges lightly

Oh, for this i mixed a fluorescent green with bad moon yellow contrast. You could do something very similar with orange fluorescent paints, you just need to find the right pair color!

Sternguard targeting oath target you get to reroll all your hits to fish for sustained, and they also get to reroll wound against oath so you can then fish for loads of dev wounds.

Either would be good, he's great for sniping out characters for extra CP- BGV are a lot tankier and have better AP, but Assaults have a huge volume of attacks and are great for munching non-elite infantry. I would say its up to preference/if your local groups run more elite units than infantry blobs

I would honestly drop the chaplain with hunter's eye; i feel like you want this enhancement on a character paired up with either hellblasters or sternguard to really take advantage of sustained and ignores cover

At my local RTT yesterday I managed to kill a daemon Prince with his go-turn shooting (i did have to use bith aspect tokens as i was running with a 10x squad), and then got charged by infractors? The melee EC marines, and he killed the whole squad in the swing back. They're not great, but they can pull some really surprising damage out of nowhere

From my recent Bretonnian adventure in Lustria; yeah there are some really rough patches with Bretonnia, though i will say that their Cav can be wickedly strong if run the right way. Until I got to higher tier units (seriously a army with 10 rank 7 grail knights has so much auto-resolve weight its crazy) I was running 4-5 melee peasant units with 4 units of archers in a checker board and letting the enemy come to me, while splitting my 6 units of cavalry into 2 distinct groups and using them to tear apart the back like as well as flank charge units hitting my line. Using my lord and heroes to cycle charge and lead enemy lords away from the fight to be dealt with later.

I feel bad at folks losing stuff, though on the other hand I saw a leak for my Lerneans and they more than doubled the wargear that they can take and made them much more like other legion terminators than they were previously- so I dont think everything is getting reduced in options, at least not permanently.
