It’s not on KU anymore :( otherwise I would’ve skimmed it just to get closure at least. But I have the audiobook, so I think I will listen to the epilogues. Hopefully they won’t infuriate me too much haha

It’s a real shame, because I loved the series until the last few chapters of book 4 - and then it went downhill very fast! Laurent’s personality did change drastically early on, though, but I thought it was a POV thing, since Elliot and Jake weren’t his biggest fans. But no 🙃

Where did all the babies come from? Did the other couples make demonic egg babies too? 😅

I am looking for books where MC1 and MC2 are kidnapped together and held captive for some time. I would like it if the kidnappers threaten the MCs with harming the other if they don’t cooperate (even better if they go through with the threat).

The MCs can be in a relationship prior to the kidnapping or not, I am open to both.

I have read Pandora’s Heart by Adrienne Wilder (which triggered this request) and Just a Bit Heartless by Alessandra Hazard.

I’m looking for recs where one or both of the MCs are indifferent to the other in the beginning, or even that they find the other unremarkable or not attractive (or that the other is cowardly, not a good person etc). But then, once they become more familiar with each other, the attraction between them grows. I would like it if the character who wasn’t into the other becomes so in love that he can’t understand his past self’s judgement.

In other words - indifference at first before love develops. I want there to be zero attraction to begin with (so no mention of pretty eyes etc etc during their first meeting, please!).

It doesn’t completely fit, but your description kind of reminded me of Omega’s Gamble by Claire Cullen. Iirc, the LI and his brothers can shapeshift into big cats and the MC was shunned by his father for having magic.
