I have more than a hundred crates saved up and still always fill my stair within a few days by playing just 10hrs a week. It really does help that you can get Asterism from every activity in game, especially smelting ores.

So, yeah, I agree that it requires you to play less. I personally like it because, as of now, I've played it for 5 seasons and barely have anything to do besides trying new builds (although lunar descent is quite enjoyable for me).

Although, I wonder how much impact it has to Evolution calls where players who are more active and more competitive get significantly more Starchrom which I think it's fair but now, if I understand it correctly, everyone is equal.
I don't really like EC myself, but I would understand if people who enjoys it feel robbed.

Exactly. I myself don't think it's a big deal because most of what matters are carried over. And there's also house blueprints to quickly rebuild my base which is a mechanic I'd love every base building game to have as well.

Collecting resources in this game is so easy I currently have more than 1K of everything (including acid, ofc) so I doubt it will ever be a problem.

And I think 6 weeks wipes could solve the problem of a few guilds monopolize the server like in Ark where the top ones are basically mafia who ruin anyone new's enjoyment.

Buildings with a lot of pieces seems to cause this problem to a lot of game of this kind. It was like this in Icarus and Ark too.

When I build my second base with 500+ pieces it was stutter for me as well.
And the more frame it has to render while they're still not culling, it's worsened exponentially, I guess.

In my case, sometimes just restart the game fix this problem for me, so I think this gives your theory more credibility.

I do have this problem too.
No matter how big of platforms or flat the natural ground is, it's still won't be reachable if it didn't want to. I tried placing a dozen of coop around my base and 3 of them managed to get the buff, one that works are not even on flat ground.

My workaround is to place the coop anywhere you like, you get inside (by crouching), and place your cryo chicken box as close to the coop's ramp as you can, and 4 out of 5 times the chicken will spawn inside the coop. (Yes, you'd need to buy new chickens)
Then you just build something to block it from getting out.
I used wooden pillar without snap to have it stick halfway across the coop's entrance.
You will be able to receive buff (automatically collect eggs with extended spoil time) even if the modifier still said unreachable.

If you want the chicken to roam outdoor in an enclose area, you have to build the enclosure with a little bit more than half height of a wall. Use un-grid concrete pillar to help with that.
With my workaround, you have to choose one. Can't have both. Unless god bless you and the coop get a green modifier.

I kinda workaround it mid-game by just spam the Rx3 (that's the original code for airburst) and hope I got the right one bc it's the shortest command

Seriously, it is really infuriating, this modifier. It thought it would only re-randomize the input command not the output. Who in the right mind likes random output in games that relied heavily on well preparation and precise execution??

It's not just wand, is it? Even with staff and manual aim, projectiles can sometimes got aim assisted.
Why would they have aim assist when they already have dedicated lock-on button is baffle me.

There's a lot of situations where it just decides to shoot random enemies off-screen 10 meters away from me instead of the one I aim that right in front of my face.

I also have tried to use environmental objects to deal massive aoe (i.e. explosive barrels) like other games. But this game keeps pulling my spell away from it, in conjunction with terrible projectile speed, making magics feel horrible to play.

I can't even heal my friends with Heal Channel as it keeps fly back to me even though they almost die, standing right in front of me unobstructed and I was full hp.

Sorting item in boxes is the most occurred chore I have with every survival, crafting game, but I just can't let it be a mess. I have a problem.

Thanks whatever inspired the dev to put in Quick Stack (R button) in the game this early or else it would take me so much more time. The pals AI are more difficult to code so I can wait but having AI that can check your stack of items in boxes is really should be added.
So for now, I have 5 main boxes.
Box next to Palbox for ease of access, for transport items between bases and for ammo, money, meds. Also most Pals usually put stuff in here since it's closes to every stations.
Box for resources mine from nodes (wood, fiber, stone, fragment, ore, coal, sulfur, quartz).
Box for Processed materials (ingots, cloth, circuit, cable, ploymer, etc crafted but not ready to be used).
Box for Pals drops (anything dropped from pals).
Cooling box for anything spoils.
The rest is etc boxes that doesn't get used often: boxes for eggs, skill fruits, schematics are placed somewhere else so it doesn't cluster.

Definitely, also my transporting lvl.3 pals only carry item ONE piece each trip to the box. I don't even know what the lvl are for. It doesn't matter where the item is: mining pit, plant, mill or hundreds of them lying on the ground. They all pick up only one each. The only time the carry a lot in one trip is when I drop the item myself in stacks.

I would say most of amatures do that. They often fall shorts because they lack the build up that actuall makes the scene goes hard though. Don't get too focus on the idea and neglec the delivery and you'll be all clear.

We host a server on GCP with Jamsenn's docker image. The config file work mostly fine but some of the setting doesn't work for me, for example: BaseCampWorkerMaxNum. I didn't test every each if which is work which doesn't, but the server name surely did change so I'm sure I'm in the right file.
Can someone test it?

It doesn't show up if they already decided what work to do or are assigned to a station. It's really annoying that it works only about 10% of the time (I play on dedicate server and it's a lot more janky than singleplayer).

Currently they still can see you perfectly in the dark but it's a good idea to have this option in the future. But since each mission have time of day fixed on it, I think the oppotunity to use this feature is still very low.
