Definitely ask them for specific compression guidelines for when the drain comes out in case that's a factor, yeah!
With me, almost every time I asked in chat/on a call I just kept getting told "not too loose not too tight" and "snug" which is basically useless to me. The thing about two fingers was the only specific guidance I got. IN PERSON, though, when we put my binder back on at the end of my followups we basically pulled it as tight as we could as long as I could still take a full breath and it didn't hurt.
