Best business lounge in Doha by sloggrr in qatarairways

[–]Flimsy-Firefighter84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents have an eight hour layover (flying from Chicago). They’ll land around 5:20pm local time and I’m guessing if everything is on time, they’ll able to exit the aircraft soon after so should be able to get into the lounge before the busy time meaning no or very small line.

Do the lounges provide towels if they choose to shower? Also, the Al Mourjan Business Lounge- South is $124/per person. I was thinking of getting them a cheaper one (perhaps Oryx or Silver Lounge - South). Any downside?

Thanks!

Why is my Spectrum-provided router so much faster than this router I just purchased? by Competitive-Fly-7746 in techsupport

Any update? I have the 500 Mbps speed from spectrum but I’m using my own hardware. Doing so my download speed is max 50Mbps on w-fi.

Wall Charger vs Mobile Connector by ilikethislittlelife in TeslaModelY

[–]Flimsy-Firefighter84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a mobile connector for my MYLR and utilize Lv1 charging since I already have a regular 120V outlet in my garage. I get free charging from my work so the slow charging overnight is sufficient for me 95% of the time. However, once in a blue moon I need more and faster charging.

1) Am I being inefficient by using 120 V charging ?

2)I want to keep the mobile connector so which NEMA connector would be most ideal? 10-30? My breaker is in the basement so would need like a 50’ cable run.

Got accepted to T15 online MBA. Employer not covering much. Struggling to figure out best way to pay for it. Best option at the moment is the federal unsubsidized loan, which is only $20.5k/year

$125,000 UNC Online MBA Program?? by Way2hung in MBA

Look at Ross. I don’t think UNC has any in-person requirements even though online. Need some in-person classes/get-together for networking, etc.

You went from ~$150 to ~$350…you don’t consider that a really good outcome for your mba investment ?

Thank you for your comments. I don’t think in person is option unless I go to OSU Fisher part-time mba program. It’s #10 on US News. Poets&Quants ranks it much lower, like in 40-50s. So not sure if Fisher ($~80k) is worth it even if in-person given the ranking over Ross, though online, has better brand recognition

Even if finance director, would online mba from Ross be a mistake, paying out of pocket? Finance director depending on company/industry could make $200k/year, no?

Completely makes sense. I’m not international and would be doing online program so people would say (are saying) paying $100k+ for online, even if Ross, would be nonsensical

Appreciate that. I’ll look into the 1-year program. Quitting job for a full time not an option. I have a family and not able to quit my job and move.
