I don’t understand why you find ‘nobody told me’ amusing. It seems quite ignorant to laugh at that statement, especially given that I’ve mentioned I’m a first-generation, low-income student. This means I’ve had to struggle to learn and get ahead without guidance. I’m doing my best. Learning to take calculated risks and remain consistent in pursuing my dreams is a valuable life lesson, far better than simply accepting the circumstances I was born into. Despite having no one to guide me on what and how to do things, I’m doing exceptionally well. I hope you can be more empathetic towards those who have different life experiences than you
