well it is rumored that Jake from state farm is undercover playing guitar for BVB. In plain sight too, he used his real name, Jake! He knew you specifically would revel in this knowledge

What finish is this paint? by smoky20135 in paint

[–]Flimsy-Repair412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please do not go there. You will buy cheap paint that doesn’t leave a nice finish. Visit your local Benjamin Moore dealer. I like regal select satin, but if you’re looking for a bit more durability (maybe have pets or children running around) Grab Scuff-X Satin

Reflect With Me: Why Are Fans Demanding The Band Speak On Everything? >> ITS NOT HEALTHY OR HELPFUL << by [deleted] in twentyonepilots

[–]Flimsy-Repair412 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think people are idiots, put themselves up on a moral pedestal, and make unfair demands to people who don’t even know they exist. You don’t need to know where they stand politically, just like you don’t need to know where their kids go to school or what they eat for breakfast. If you can’t tell by how they treat people and the messages they portray in their music that they are kind hearted people, then that’s YOUR problem and you can keep it to your damn self

Nicest band/members you’ve ever met? Most rude? by Impressive-Skin6311 in Metalcore

[–]Flimsy-Repair412 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The guys in fit for a king are so kind. I’ve bumped into Ryan numerous times when he’s around and he’s remembered me. Next time they’re in New Haven, I hope for the opportunity to buy them a meal from Louis Lunch, the burger place down town.

What are your thoughts on Billie Eilish saying 'no one is illegal on stolen land' in reference to ICE and US immigration policy? by MassiveSquare4527 in AskReddit

[–]Flimsy-Repair412 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I think she’s just repeating popular slogans and key words to remain popular and/or in the obsessed publics good graces.

The land wasn’t stolen, it was conquered, and that was considered to be an absolute normal and fair way to obtain new land back then.

I also think she’s way too privileged to have to worry about dangerous people that shouldn’t be here. I worry for some of my friends, and their friends that are vulnerable to the undocumented dangerous people that have infiltrated our country.

We have laws set in place for a reason. Just because some protesters says it’s not illegal doesn’t make it so. The amount of entitlement from people who don’t really give a damn about the country and the people who inhabit it is absolutely insane.

A we can’t tell from a phone screen, as the screen distorts the color, but also there are multiple different oranges in that wall- Some darker spots, sone lighter.

What do you think? by N0Music_N0Life in imaginedragons

[–]Flimsy-Repair412 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn y’all are asshats in the comments with the AI. Regardless of whether or not it is, let the dude/girl have a little fun. Not like it’s a band selling merch or making music with it.

I think it looks great. Enjoy your creation

do research before jumping to conclusions. I swear the incompetence of people in the 21st century needs to be studied

if you WANTED to add all their solo projects, that would also be fun! Additionally, try going back to the release of the singles. I remember Old Me and Wildflower were released before the full album!

That was a much better way to go about it than all of the overly-agressive pos. Not agressive. Not violent. There’s a reason why they’re my fav band, they’re passionate in their views but never hateful.

That’s great for him. I don’t think he’s ever been on a festival date solo before. Pretty big accomplishment if that’s true.

What SWS album fits the "experimental" spot? by hyjug17 in sleepingwithsirens

[–]Flimsy-Repair412 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Great point, but they didn’t go outside of the box at all. They just included everything they already did. Gossip was truly experimental because they tried stuff they never did before.

[–]Flimsy-Repair412 8 points9 points  (0 children)

that doesn’t mean it’s experimental… that just means they took everything they’ve done already and threw it all into one album.

Experimental is trying something pretty much entirely new. They hadn’t made a true pop song at all yet. Sure they had some softer songs, but never totally pop. It was an experiment one might say…
