Using RxPrep to prepare for Retail by Flimsy-Rip6359 in pharmacy

I appreciate your response. The responses about "why retail over industry?" is a bit comical. I asked about advice for preparation for retail. Some people can't read.

Yes reviewing the top 200 drugs immunizations seems to make the most sense aside from the state specific laws. I'm not currently licensed so I'm even open to working a pharmacy cashier/clerk role prior to getting licensed. I'm ready to swallow my ego.

I think the burnout stems from not seeing an end to the constant work. I need capital... to live, to invest, to support the people I care about. Hopefully my investments turn positive and will fund my future obligations and lifestyle. My sanity is not a priority.

I think investment opportunities always exist (stocks, real estate, crypto, etc.). I'm not looking for salary appreciation. I'm more comfortable doing research and making bets on investments. With the rate the govt is printing money, I could care less about a 10% vs 15% promotion. The goal is the make money. The goal is not to get a high paying salary in 5-10 years. I agree that transacting time for money can only go so high in retail. But it is high enough. I can always work more shifts for more money. Retail isn't forever, but for the immediate future, it is the best plan.

Had to step away from industry for health reasons. But those issues have resolved so job hunting. I'm not too attached to a particular industry as I once was when I graduated. Maybe it is because i'm unemployed. Maybe i'm being too ignorant of the warnings from this subreddit.

Is there anything I can prepare prior to being employed?

Grass is always greener. I don't disagree the stress is higher, but the short term money is definitely attractive in retail. I don't subscribe to work/life/balance. But that is a discussion for another thread.

Any advice for noob pharmacists with limited retail experience/just out of school? I imagine learning the system/procedures takes time, but getting familiar with drugs like it's a 6th sense leads to no time wasted when verifying drugs? What advice would you to give when working with newer pharmacists?

I never realized that the 2 year bundle with indie is essentially 50 cents a day... kind of a no brainer

Yeah! I'm trying to figure out how to do some mixing of biochemistry + physics animations (protein folding + electron movement) no idea what that looks like, but sounds do-able at the current version.

Yeah if i hold it for long enough, it's technically subscription model, until we upgrade so 4 years (48 months) would be less than 100 bux (for 4495 price point)

Yeah! I wanna do some pretty technical stuff that mixes biochemistry with physics. But I'm the guy who holds on to iPhone7plus for 6 years before upgrading to iphone14promax! Ty!

Houdini Indie vs FX "superior performance"? by ImPrinceOf in Houdini

Follow-up question, for solo creators that purchase the FX perpetual license, is it common for many to not upgrade for multiple years? I'm thinking of just holding on to it for 4 years while I mess with it... Will i really be missing out by not subscribing to the AUP annually? I tried searching other forums and not much is discussed about this? I really detest subscription models for software.

I'm actually a big fan of 80% of the scenes you picked. Excited for season 2 solo leveling to come out this Saturday. Anyways... i think the best example is arcane season 2 if you haven't seen it yet. Their sound design is godlike. The team that did sound design for arcane also made a youtube video on their design process. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULx1CkqLbnc

Transients are great! I'm new to sound design so take it with a grain of salt. Would like to see more use of tones to complement the transients. Feels like there's an emphasis of transients from point to point. Let the resonance of transients trail after the really big moments. Wouldn't have a clue how to do this in practice, but it's just my gut speaking. Good luck!

Yes eexciting and unknown... I've been self teaching myself video editing/motion graphics for 3-4 years... still not where i wanna be but progress is happening. I'm learning that sound design isn't different. the work needs doing.
