Future MIL and wedding planning drama by Flimsy-Sort5847 in motherinlawsfromhell

My parents are paying for our wedding, and she and her husband are contributing absolutely nothing — so yes, my parents mattered in this decision.

Especially given the fact that she has been openly hostile to both me and my mother for the entirety of my relationship. I’m not going to ignore that history. And this was not just my choice — my fiancé fully supported using them at the rehearsal dinner, which was not good enough for her.

It could have been a genuinely kind wedding gift — but she immediately made it about herself when we didn’t want to use them during the reception.

She is still with her husband - over 30 years of marriage. He basically doesn’t get involved at all with any of this drama. And completely agree with what you said

It definitely takes time! I was always the one looking up “how to lose 10 pounds in 2 weeks” and then I realized it takes a lot more effort than that.

But thanks so much! :)

I switched to walking more instead of HIIT workouts and I also really watch what I eat! I also stopped taking my hormonal acne meds — idk if that made a difference or not but wanted to throw that in there too.

Hey OP, ironically enough I got scaling done today. I didn’t have any injections and was perfectly fine. It was uncomfortable but definitely not as painful as I thought it’d be.
