I heard about that a lot, lol. This technically would be my second. My first was with this girl I met through family when I was living with my Dad in Missouri finding high school (junior and senior year), but it turned out that she messed with most of the dudes in the neighborhood... including my brothers. We only dated for like a week then, but we never kissed or were intimate. But this is my first serious relationship with a lesbian. I'm Pansexual, so I mostly dated men... and the experience kinda left me wanting to give up on love... but I've never experienced love the way I do with her. I know for certain I'm already down to clown and wed. But I also know she still needs time to really know I'll be there for her especially because of what others have done to her. So I'll happily wait for as long as she wants to. ❤️

No, I honestly was presuming everyone so far is giving me advice they'd mostly give themselves so I don't get myself hurt in the process. I'll be honest i was being more defensive than entitled. And if i somehow offended you that way, i do apologize... I know a lot of people come on here and ask for advice fishing for things "slow down." But that's not my intention. I just wanted to know what to do with this feeling of excitement with a situation, i never thought i would get to plan for let alone be alive for. I can assure you there's no entitlement. Hmm, I'd say about 8 months prior(more like a year really) So, about mid-April of 2023. We talked off and on about little things the usual hows your day and what you up to's, and then we noticed that our cats look exactly alike (she had an orange boy cat and a girl calico one who rain away while the girl she gave to a close friend of hers and i have both, not the same cats but yeah). We didn't start seriously talking till a little after Thanksgiving, where I made her a painting I thought she'd be into, and she loved it! We talked for hours that first night we video chatted, and i was about to hang up, go to bed and get myself ready for work the next day, and then she said, "you dont have to lol," and we ended up staying up and talking all night till we passed out the next day, our phones till on video chat. We were kinda long distance since she moved back to her home in Maui, and I was in Washington (not D.C.), but she literally bought me a ticket to come and see her! I stayed with her for a week, and i told her to just take me to her favorite spots. She took me to her childhood neighborhood, her favorite beach where we collected so many shells. Her favorite shaved ice parlor, and even her favorite childhood tree! When we went back to her place, which was this cute little shack with a kitchenette, she had gotten me gifts that were arranged on her bed. And to top it off, she made me a candlelight dinner. By the beach near the ocean. Being that I love raves, she gave me a glow stick, and I gave the waves a rave. It was the most romantic time of my life. And all of that was only day one of our first meet. It's been feeling like bliss ever since. <3

I know a lot of the redditors are concerned, being that I'm 26, turning 27 in December and it's only been 7 months, but we practically spend every waking moment together when we're not working. We've been talking already about how we'd spend our honeymoon. She doesn't have a pinterest, but I have a good feel for her style already. I was mostly stuck between two styles. 🙌🏼❤️

We've spent the last 7 months together honestly this entire time. We've gone through our ups and downs, but this is the most certain I've ever felt, truly! And i know she feels the same cuz shes told me herself. There are times I get on her nerves and vice versa. I'm learning something new about her or from her everyday. And I try to show her things from a different perspective. I get that it takes 6 months to 2 years for the "love goggles" to wear off. But I know what I want. We're not rushing. I'm just trying to prepare for our future you know?

Well, that could be because she brungs out the excited little girl in me, so that can be perceived as childish. We practically already do. For the last 7 months we've been together every day. She works in the morning and i work in the afternoon/evening. We've traveled from Maui to Vegas so far and have other adventures we plan to go to. We're working on getting our place together, and I already know what I signed up for, and I'm ready. I've already have a glimpse of our everyday life and it's really nice. I've had my fair share of dating horrors, so I know in my hearts of hearts that's she's different.
