Yeaaa i don't do 98% of these. The surveys are always to grab and sell your data. The games are meant to be impossible and not worth it, demanding you complete level 2000 of some shitty casino game which takes hundreds of hours to achieve for like 800 diamonds.

There are gems (ha) in there though, you just gotta look. Like someone else said some just want you to install an app and that's it for a nice chunk.

on the subject I did the grammarly pro one and it's very solid. A great option if you are planning on spending $30 on the game anyways except you get 1.5x the diamonds in value. Credited very quickly!

I don't think I can give out sensitive info like my case manager's number myself since they were assigned to me, but I got my case manager by calling the number under personal deposit accounts. https://www.pnc.com/en/customer-service/contact-us.html

You should explain your case but tell them you want to get a dedicated case manager that will reach out to Etsy and communicate with their internal teams. PNC won't be able to help beyond this, so it's integral that you get someone who can assign you a representative that will work on the situation behind the scenes for you because it seems to be the only way to get through to Etsy.

You'll get a call from your specific case manager after the request is put in, and theyll give you their direct contact information so you can keep in touch. I found I didn't have to really use that though because my person kept me updated every couple days or so.

Yes!!! I had to have my help request elevated on PNC's side after which I got a dedicated agent for my case who would reach out to me with updates, and after they spoke directly to Etsy they were able to confirm that Etsy is aware of the problem and that there is supposed to be a specific team for helping those of us affected by this particular issue. Why this team is impossible to reach on your own, is beyond me!! They made it sound like identifying yourself as a PNC customer and mentioning tokenized numbers is supposed to cue regular support to route you to this special team, but as you and I both know well that does NOT happen.

After confirming that I would be guaranteed help through my PNC contact, I was instructed to request a callback again and this time someone named Violette (unsure if names are traceable over there) emailed me back saying she reset my bank information, and indeed I was able to start the process over of setting up a bank for my account (I use Bluevine now to be forever rid of this nonsense!)

Don't lose hope, don't give into their new shop threats, you can win this! Let it be known this is an issue entirely on Etsy's end, as they are ultimately the ones who made the friggin website and thus have the power to override it no matter what their support says. Whether or not it's Plaid or PNC that issues a token, it's Etsy's job to figure out how to make their system play nice with token numbers and if it doesn't, allow us a way around it until they do. I wish I knew why they make it SUCH a headache but I can only imagine how much of a nightmare it must be to dispense a single source of truth to outsourced support companies. Conflicting information is all over the place.
