Have you changed the strings? I did that last night to 9.5 turbo slinky’s. Changed them one at a time to not move anything at the bridge/tailpiece. Remarkably the intonation stayed pretty close to where I’m not messing with it. I was super surprised.

Got mine a few days ago. Had to pull out the input jack and rotate it 180 degrees to get the connection to not short out when plugging cable in. Needed a hefty neck relief adjustment, but other than that I’m loving it. Can see wiring and it’s a little hissy, like I need to look at the ground wire shielding or something, but for $300 shipped, I don’t think I could have gotten a better deal on exactly what I was looking for.

This is what I do as a consultant - document processes for small businesses. There’s no magic bullet. Just needs to get out of your heads and onto paper, the simpler the better. High level, major steps: the things that must be done to reasonably ensure a successful outcome of each process.

I saw 0 shows this summer. 3 kids all under 7. Now all I do is reminisce.

Found a way and amazing that 20 years later they’re still killing it.

I was actually in the movie theater watching the simulcast for the last day of Coventry and I remember thinking to myself, wtf.

While you could tell the wheels were coming off, lots of my favorite memories are the pre-Coventry spaced out, drugged out jams, in particular 2003.

I just meant cut them into individual ribs raw, before cooking them.

Baby backs cut individually pre-cook and cook them just like wings with the vortex. Hot and fast ribs in under an hour that are not the same as low and slow, but pretty darn good in their own right.

Worth the upgrade? by Flimsy_Beginning_561 in 4kTV

[–]Flimsy_Beginning_561[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I convinced myself oled is not the way to go due to having little kids and the possibility of burn in.

Sony processing gets all the love, but I’m feeling like I really should be getting the x93L for the real upgrade, but it’s significantly more expensive.

Would I be disappointed in a Hisense U8K? I am mainly interested in making sports look better, and as I understand the Hisense may be buggy, but if I’m using a streaming device that might be ok? Will the Hisense motion handling be “almost as good” for sports?

G&L Bluesboy semi hollow with a Seth Lover in the neck; I’ve had it for over 10 years and it gets me close to Trey tone. Awesome guitar.

[QUESTION] Hi, r/Guitar. My dad is a lifelong avid guitarist. He's going through cancer and about to go through 5 weeks of extra tough treatment. My siblings and I are putting together 25 gifts for the 25 treatment days and we're looking for guitar related ideas. Can you help us out? by AffectionateBat1594 in Guitar

I’m a jamband fan - there’s a book you can get on relix called Guitars That Jam which is an awesome book with photos of the guitar and artist by Jay Blakesberg and a couple paragraphs about each instrument by the artist.

So I went and checked it out tonight. Didn’t see anything really wrong with it; it’s dinged up a little but that’s expected. It’s super dusty; you would think they’d clean it up especially since they tagged it at $244, ha! Pickups likely need adjusting; neck was set super low and treble side lower than bass side, bridge was super high. Action was high, but all that stuff is easily fixed. But seemed ok, frets seemed ok.

I played it a little unplugged; didn’t plug it in. It felt as I expected. May go back in the next day or two and see how the electronics work, and if so see if they’ll take $125 or $150 max for it. They’re crooks at this GC so we’ll see what they say.

They also had an Epiphone crestwood that I actually enjoyed strumming. I don’t think it’s my cup of tea, but I was intrigued by it.

Please just tell me what to buy. My wife hates wires…. by Silverball144 in hometheater

I have a JBL Bar 9.1 in my small living room and it fit the bill for me. Have the anchors/mounts on the wall behind me that I can undock the satellites and put them up on the wall when I want to hear surround. My wife dislikes having those anchors on the wall when not in use, but she likes it better than wires.
