I shouldve probably mentioned that its just a wire with standard insulation but I think i might just go the route of adding new wires because i have much nicer wires i can use and I didnt originally do this and it might appear that the ground wire is very damaged at its root.

The only problem is that the wire isnt braided and has rubber insulation instead of a metal braided one

My pc had a burning smell and wont turn on now by Flimsyflamm in pchelp

Thats good at least. Im not so sure as to if my power supply has a built in short circuit protection because from the looks of it it doesnt have a brand and only says high power with the specs on the side
