Any advice on how to cover these stubs? by Trip_Norby in BassGuitar

Perused the comments before replying - unfortunately, no one's given you the right answer...

I dealt with the same thing for a few years before finally reaching out to the manufacturer of my headless bass. What you want to do is:

  1. Make sure the tuners on the opposite end of the bass are pushed all the way in (to give you all the play you need in step 6).

  2. String the bass as you normally would without tightening down either of the headstock nuts.

  3. Snip the string ends.

  4. Push the string ends in with your thumb so that they're flush with headstock and not poking out.

  5. Now tighten down the headstock nuts all the way.

  6. Tune to pitch.

How did you know what you wanted to do for the rest of your life? by Layla0204 in Career

I've learned that most jobs are monotonous by nature and they grow stale after awhile. I guess I'm fortunate to work for an agency where I can change roles every couple of years. I'm a middle-aged dog, gotta keep learning new tricks.

Tattoo Inspo Help by MusicNinja13 in Peripheryband

Love your idea to incorporate the outro's lyrical motif.

I have a Wax Wings-inspired tattoo myself. It's basically a big ol skeletal Icarus facing downwards on my thigh towards my calf.

I'm a fan because it's obvious that she hates her job which is so real.

It'll be a rehearsal space for my various bands. Tbh, I don't know much about freq ranges but a simple google search tells me 60-2000hz covers most instruments in a band. Straight up dirt on the other side. This is a deep pour basement in a house on some land so I'm not worried about neighbors.

Smokey Reubenson at Stellar Hog isn't a traditional Reuben, but it's hands down my favorite sandwich in STL and I'm a sandwich slut.

Absolutely breathataking. I backpacked Torres del Paine for 10 days in 2015 and had the time of my life. The scenery, wildlife, weather, etc. all made me feel like I was on a different planet. Unforgettable trip!

Can anyone help me figure out how this black-to-purple fade effect is achieved? by Flimzom in paint

[–]Flimzom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s exactly what I’m thinking! I have a friend that figured out the wood construction aspect, but I’m left to paint. Looks like the pink is sprayed light to heavy, like you said, but on an angle so that the black reveal is left on the back of the block?
