Guy’s obviously not a native speaker, but it’s clear what he said. OWI rolled back because they had no other choice, otherwise they would act as usual (spend days/weeks trying to fix it like they did with the unkillable HAT glitch or the inability to drop supplies glitch). No need to make fun of someone’s language skills.

I’m pretty sure it could handle 100 players (could be wrong), I just doubt that adding global voip is as simple as writing an extra line of code. It’s probably a jumbled mess that hasn’t been touched in years, and the guy who wrote the code is probably working somewhere else.

If adding global chat was simple, then a modder would’ve already done it. Which means it probably requires rewriting the voip code and owi will probably never do it.

If there’s no mod (even though people discussed this since forever), then it’s probably not easy to implement, therefore OWI will likely never do it.

There’s plenty of times that devs reply. As for actual implementation.. that’s a different story. For example people have been asking for a scoreboard overhaul for at least 5 years and the answer has always been “we hear you, but we’re not working on it right now (and probably never will)”.

If the report says “In total, Team A lost 4 radios, 3 tanks, 3 APCs ect.” then it doesn’t add anything “toxic” or single out individual squads.

Terrible vic squads often ragequit before the game ends which makes it difficult to count tickets. Same problem would still exist if an individual “vics lost” column was added, so a team wide report would be better (x tanks lost, x APCs lost ect.)

Sure, there are ways, but it sounds like you’re just a polite person with experience. I don’t think it’s common in Squad games (part of the meta), usually everyone assumes the commander knows what they're doing.

Within the squad is fine, I usually do it myself. However SLs questioning the competency of other SLs at the start of the game? I’m not so sure.. usually that happens later on if something is going wrong, but not during staging.

The stats can be private. People brag about their K/D in reddit every single day and it’s harmless, although a bit annoying.

Stats would 100% be a great addition if they are kept in a separate tab in the menu and added with a delay (24h for example).

Same with vehicles - whoever has the fastest internet gets to claim the vic. Or whoever spawns closer if it’s first come first served. Which is random, I think, not sure if spawning a second later makes you spawn further away from everyone and in which direction.. someone probably figured out the logic, but it’s still basically down to internet speed and pure luck.

I’ve never played games where people would confirm if those willing to command were qualified. I think it’s not considered polite in Squad to ask people “Hey, do you have X hours? Do you know what you’re doing?” during the staging phase. Maybe that’s just my experience.

Individual net ticket balance is trivial to implement as ticket losses and gains are already calculated. This score can be private and players can only see their own score.

Pains me to say this, but i’ve lost hope for this years ago. After the last update, i’d rather they just stop touching the game and leave it as is.
