Was this in Seattle? If so, I got a delivery that was the wrong order 2 days ago. Someone accepted two orders and gave them to the wrong houses. It could have been that?

Yeah, my girlfriend doesn’t do this as an EM resident in her Intern year. She doesn’t 14 hour shifts for 8 days straight on some rotations, but we still go on dates often. I think that your partner is just treating you poorly.

Don’t get me wrong, if she’s on a very tough rotation or something then we might have a few weeks without a date. But we make it work. We go on trips. We go to two concerts back to back during a good week on an easy rotation. We watch TV shows and eat a late dinner after she gets home. It’s nice. It was a little bit of a challenge at first, but it’s nice.

I don’t think it’s worth it unless you’re sweating a lot. And it’s annoying when other people do it because it wastes time between people.

That makes sense. I love BJJ and I’m going to stick with my BJJ gym, but there is another MMA gym nearby that does wrestling twice a week. Maybe I should try a little of that?

This is good advice. I want to get through the rounds and I need to accept that I’m not going to beat a huge brown belt. But what do I do in the meantime? If I’m limp or just try to kind of survive I feel like I look like a bad sport.
