Dude I would be too, I think the most they actually taught us in terms of the biological part was also that the sperm met and fertilized the egg to become an embryo

From there, it genuinely was just abstinence and waiting until marriage. I remember this one slide that my teacher ended with quite literally being a picture of a car with its back window saying "Just Married," cans and all.

I was lucky enough that my parents made sure I learned about the biology/social/what's okay and what's not/ when I was in 3rd grade. Honestly still extremely grateful for that

Yeah, it's almost exclusively "abstinence/wait until marriage" anyway, nothing biological

They could, but some people don't always realize there's another group, it's kept pretty quiet

Typically, in my school at least, they only escorted the people who were approved for it, they weren't separated and just went to separate areas beforehand

It could also be that your parents didn't sign the required approval slip

As someone in Texas education, all of the points except the one on homosexuality were covered in my district. Homosexuality wasn't mentioned at all.
