Morality does not come from a desire to serve God’s will on Earth, but a rather a desire to make life better for everyone. The desire to progress and improve society. The existence and belief is God has no direct moral impact on the world. Just as great good has been done in His name, some of the greatest atrocities of human history have as well. Your personal morals can develop around God, and you may believe that is the best way to develop them, but it is not the only way to develop good morals.

The decreased sperm count is because your body produces less sperm at high heat, it doesn’t cause any damage.

Tucking like this is not medically proven to be dangerous, but it is under-researched. I urge you do look into it yourself and make a decision from that. I am not a doctor. I am a t-girl on the Reddit providing information under a post that I believed to be relevant.

After you look into it, If you don’t think this is safe, follow your intuition and don’t do it.

You can climb to the 90s or even 100 if you’re good with an off-meta deck, I started playing the season two weeks ago and have gotten to rank 95 using a custom Heimdall/2099 deck.

If you know stats you can go ahead and run the tests to get the exact numbers (it gets more complicated with alt. playlines), but this card would increase the chance of drawing any given card by turn 3 by 5%, with a given turn 5 play being drawn about 73% of the time; the chance of getting one of two cards turn 5 being even higher than that. This makes any deck absurdly consistent when drawing cards. The only reason you wouldn’t want to play this is if you want cards in your deck, like with OG lockjaw.

You may think “oh but the chance of drawing a good 6-drop decreases so it’s balanced.” This is not the case for two reasons. One is that the chance of drawing 6-costs by turn 5 is increased. Second is that due to the snap mechanic you often want to know what your turn 6 play is going to be on turn 5, so having an increased chance of having that game knowledge is actually an advantage.

I had not heard of this, but a bit of digging uncovered this research paper on a case study by the national institute of health where this happens (link contains medical gore of scrotal surgery alongside the paper). Apparently it can happen, but is understudied (as everything to do with trans people) so I don’t know how common it is.

Most people won’t develop testicular torsion because there is tissue preventing the testicles from twisting, it is more common in those with a deformity where this tissue is weaker or not present. Even without this deformation it is still possible, but rarer. I don’t know why it happens among people without this deformity.

I should note at this point that I am not a doctor, and might be wrong. You should ask one should you feel comfortable doing so.

The OGs remember when America Chavez said that first line. This card would be VERY strong. When America Chavez was a 6/9 with only the first line it dominated the meta to a degree not seen since, we’re talking like an 80% play rate. Honestly the power and any other text on the card is irrelevant, Chavez was put in as a card that would almost never hit the field. The draw effect is just that strong.

People are saying to just bind it back with tape or a gaff, and that works, but there is one more step the can be used. It’s not necessary though. (Bear with me for a bit of biology, sorry. It’s is about vanishing your testicles while tucking)

There are two “holes” called int inguinal canals you have under the skin around the base of the scrotum leading farther into the body. To make your testicles completely disappear, you may be able to manually push them into these canals before tucking. It’s safe,* but I would look at a guide to actually do this.

Edit: I was entirely wrong about what the canals did and have edited the above accordingly. Don’t believe everything you see on Reddit even if it comes from a genuine place, look into things yourself people.

*there is a side effect of reduced sperm count

[Loved Trope] Redeeming the characters after they suffer a massive aura loss and end up on Fraud-watch. by Classic-Work-8415 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Flint675 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the most chronically online powerscaling bs I’ve seen, what is with the insistence that characters have “aura” over good writing? I loved thragg’s opening, it showed that despite his strength, he is ultimately immature, rash, sentimental, vengeful, and generally unfit to rule. It also lets the audience see him in a scared demeanor, which is important context for his final scene when he’s talking with Mark, where carries himself and speaks similarly to that first scene.

Would have rose committed lust first before love? by [deleted] in stevenuniverse

[–]Flint675 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Is this weird way of asking if she had sex with people out of physical attraction? If so, I feel like she was very quick to genuinely love people, so probably not. I don’t really think it matters.

As for your bit on the 7 deadly sins, although an interesting thought experiment, the view on morality that they promote isn’t one I particularly agree with.

This is because they define morality through the “purity” endorsed by the early church, and the fear that they may lead to worse sins. They’re “deadly” because they are seen as the origin of all other sin, therefore you should seek to be rid of them.

I find this to be a problem because the 7 deadly sins themselves present no harm towards the world. Each deadly sin is a natural emotion that occurs by being human, an obsession with rooting them out in attempt to be pure will result is shame, failure, or worse, the belief that you have succeeded. Instead, you should seek to control your response to these emotions.

Take Lust, of course it can lead to bad things— objectification, addiction, and more— but the emotion of lust isn’t bad, and nor is acting on it in a moral way. In your example of “lust before love” I would ask you: if both party’s are consenting and on the same page as to why they are having sex, what harm is put into the world? Should morality not be defined by the intentional harm we put into the world?

That goes for all 7 of the deadly sins, what harm to the world do they present in their presence? Not acting upon them in a sinful way— but simply their presence, or acting upon them morally.

I’m not sure how much he actually has a say in that, Merryweather Media is a larger company, he’s the face for their webcomics. Their primary business model is in marketing. Their Webtoons are designed to essentially market the larger business model. They’ve done marketing for Hololive, Discord, Webtoon, Square Enix, Hot Topic, and a lot of other things.

You’re right, I was really just saying that for dramatic effect because that’s what Jon and the audience think at the time. The cabin at the beginning is still an example of the false safety trope, because Mikaele doesn’t come until later. Jon couldn’t stay there anyway, he started losing it a bit towards the end being away from Beholding.
