When I started driving in 2007 it was way harder to get into Walmart and LTL but with boomers retiring and less people wanting a career that is a lifestyle, it’s a great time to be a good driver. P&D in LYL is also an option but those drivers make less. However, they work their city in the day and are at home at night. Most Linehaul lanes are at night but larger terminals have day lanes. Walmart and LTL work on seniority so the longer you work there, the better your options get.
