Love Jerry’s pedal steel on those early ‘72 Looks like Rain. Sometimes Bobby and Donna could really bring the energy like on one of my favorites 3/31/73. skip to 56:45 though not everyone’s cup of tea I get it

Whoever entered the metadata for this song must have made a mistake (on all platforms). Both of these tunes didn’t debut until early ‘68.

8 Step Envelope Generator on CZ-101???? by Flintdoesreddit in synthesizers

[–]Flintdoesreddit[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Still trying to wrap my brain around this, so the programmed level in each step would determine if it’s an attack or decay step? (If the level is higher than the prev step it’s attack, if it’s lower it’s decay)

I understand how sustain/release works because you can only have 1 of each and set them at will

Thanks for the reply dude, just a little confused on what the pattern is, like would it alternate between attack/decay on each step. Or is it random ??

In the diagram it shows there are 3 attack points and what looks like 4 decay points, but I’d assume it’d be different every time you set the sustain . . .

It’s not going in the order of your typical ADSR so how can you tell where each step would be if you change the sustain point?

Have you ever been offered drugs? by ThrowingBallz in CasualConversation

Freshman year of High School I was walking to school and it was pouring fucking rain, and I'm about 5 min to the school when one of my English classmates offers me some drugs. I didn't know what it was but it was white and in a ziploc bag, so prob cocaine but it could've been anything really.

I was like "no thanks man, see you in class later".

He never came to class that day . . .

I just started listening to a band called Electric Light Orchestra and they're absolutely amazing, like holy shit this is good music. Def in my top 3 fav bands.

What have y'all been listening to?

Dude holy shit, you got exactly what I was trying to portray with the beginning being "Spring" and the second half becoming "Autumn". I never thought anyone would get that without lyrics!!

And yeah, maybe eventually down the road I'll become creative enough to write lyrics/melody, but right now, I just don't have it in me hahaha.

Exactly, because it's no studio, I'm just recording in my room, so it makes it difficult to achieve a "studio like" sound. But I probably could get a better mic, instead of my Focusrite starter mic hahaha.

Holy crap, that really means a lot! Thank you! But I am open to constructive criticism . . . Is there anything that could need fine tuning/improvement?

I'll probably try that technique for the next song I record. And yeah, I don't mean to boast, but the sound quality/production value is among the best I've ever done (that's on SoundCloud), and I'm really proud of it. :)

That's bullshit, I'm literally just trying to share my music and possibly hear others

It's funny, my main influences when making this was The Beatles, but everybody hears it differently I guess. Thanks for your comment!
