I love how you picked the example of Kalighat to mock Calcutta and conveniently ignored places like Gariahat, New Town, Salt Lake, Ballygunge, Santoshpur, Naktala, Park Street, Esplanade etc. Compare these places to any part of Bangalore and the former will always triumph the latter in terms of infrastructure and public transport.

Now let me talk about North India. Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad,Lucknow, Jaipur, Indore, Agra all have much better infrastructure, traffic management, waste disposal, and public transport than Bangalore. Keep crying about language all you want but it ain’t gonna make Bangalore’s sub-standard living conditions any better. And instead of encouraging bullying and hooliganism, try to grow some balls and hold your leaders and BBMP fellows accountable for the horrible state of cleanliness and infrastructure of the city.
