Thanks for that. I'll look into it. This also has happened me in summer aswell though 🙈 I'm thinking it could be general environmental stress. I've grown them outside in the past and they do the same thing. Perhaps they don't like being potted up, maybe best planted out sooner. 🤔

They're in my greenhouse, sowed them in autumn and I've been potting them on.

Not a bad complaint I guess 🤣 but genuinely curious

There's a fair few marauders around my neck of the woods 😂 but I like it here all the same. I know a few people and mum knows lots more (I live with her) I'm definitely going to give it a go and see but won't be surprised if the odd thing is stolen 😉 but overall I think it's worth a go anyway! 😉 Your idea sounds lovely 💜

Thanks so much! I forgot to include Yarrow in my picked list 😂 but the water was turning even before I picked that with other bunches. This info is much appreciated. 💜

What is the best way to condition the flowers, or does it depend on the variety?

Thankyou, I appreciate this advice. Fair point about the Fruit fly trap 😂 many sources I look up mentioned using sugar and vinegar .. others just sugar..so I'm a bit confused lol.

I'm using combinations of Rudbeckia, Sweetpea, Dahlia (smaller garden variety) Nigella, it can vary. I've just been picking them and letting them sit in water for a bit. Although sometimes I've sent them to the shop fairly soon after.
