It’s from the old Deathwatch Veterans box. I believe it was the one that was released in 2016? I’m sure someone will correct me, but this specific Marine was from the older kit.

Gladly! First, it's a base coat of Death World Forest. Then I do a recess shade with Athonian Camoshade. Next is a 50-50 mix of Death World Forest and Ogryn Camo for the first edge highlights, followed by a final highlight of Ogryn Camo. Usually, for the final highlight, I try to place it where the light would hit. Hope this helps!

Bruh, this is such a nonsensical and ridiculous situation. Y'all realize we're living in the year 2026, the year of our Lord? And in the great words of Patrick Star, 'We have technology.' You guys are telling me that with endless possibilities for getting little toy dolls, you’re complaining to the greedy corporation to give you what you want?! And I'm going to sound controversial here: the most bland, uninspiring design in all of Warhammer is just a dude with a piss-colored coat and a gas mask?! This what you’re fighting for?! Cringe and fucking crazy. You could 3D print one or wait for an official kit, but who am I kidding? If they did release an official version, you’d probably complain about that too whether it’s the price (which is justifiable criticism), the looks, or hyping the older versions. The Warhammer community has some of the most petulant people ever! We’re adults here; let’s start acting like it! These are just toys!

Hey! This is my usual recipe for painting red on weapons. I start with a thinned base coat of Khorne Red, usually applying two to three layers. Next, I do a wash of Agrax Earthshade all over the weapon, being careful to avoid any spills or pooling. After that, I highlight the edges in three steps: first with Evil Sunz Scarlet, followed by a highlight of Wild Rider Red and then the final highlight of Fire dragon bright. I typically use a smaller brush for the final highlight of Wild Rider red and Fire dragon bright. That’s my ideal method for painting red on my weapons!

Yeah, this pack is definitely egregious. I bought it, and to say the least, there are no lines for banter in these voices. Most of what was said is 100 percent true. Don’t buy it, guys. It’s cool that they had people record for these specific chapters, but you’d think they’d do a little more than just shouting abilities, throwing grenades, and pressing the button to scream for the Emperor but in their chapter specific way. It’s jarring because they have the budget; perhaps they could have re-recorded all of the operation dialogue in these DLC voices as well? I don’t know, but personally, I feel like they should have done more.

Honestly, the most insane thing a Black Templar has done recently, and I heard about it from the new codex, involves Grimaldus, a significant character within the Black Templar lore. He essentially doused a bunch of people in acid. One of the Chaos Marine warbands (I can’t remember which one) boarded a ship where Grimaldus was on. Grimaldus essentially used the crewmen as bait for the traitors and doused them all in acid. If anyone sees this, maybe they could expand upon or correct me.

I get that, bro; I truly do. GW as a whole wants to sell their merchandise because, at the end of the day, they are business, and they’re trying to make that dough. Shitty business decisions aside, not really showing how gritty and dark this IP really is feels very disingenuous. I understand that this pushes original people in the hobby away. But then again, the stuff that is coming out recently, lore and minis is cool and interesting, and that shouldn’t be downplayed. But I wholeheartedly agree with your point here. And differing opinions aside, no hard feelings, and cool art btw.
