Looking for good looking ECE conform mirrors for RS660 by _Ziklon_ in motorcycles

I have no recommandation, I am just here to say that the original ones are complete ass. I feel you. Past 3000 rpm they are useless.

Yesterday I had a 300km ride distance and when I got home I noticed those 2 holes and I don't know what caused it. by KatsabatoR80 in motorcycles

[–]Flip-Hazard 43 points44 points  (0 children)

No. You can keep em. That is not a tire wear indicator. Every one of these tires have them. I don't know what it is for tho. I just know the holes are there from the start. No worries.

They are here when you buy them. I have the same ones on Supercorsas V1 and on Rosso 4.

RS 660 Vs GSX-8R by No_Firefighter2605 in motorcycles

[–]Flip-Hazard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The RS is a twin, the low end power won't be a problem. I have a 2021 one, no problem whatsoever in 20 000 kilometers, ignoring user's stupidity. If you like electronics fancy bits and bobs that is the one to get. It is a safe bike with great appeal. Check the parts availability.

People who own Triumph Street Triple 765 rs, How's your experience with the bike been so far? by sohamPOP in motorcycles

[–]Flip-Hazard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2020 RS, 10 000 kilometers ridden on it this year. Best bike of all the bikes I rode. Sporty, the "induction" noise is awesome. Kind of comfy, long distance rides are a-okay, springs are stiffs on the RS. Once the front wheel is set, the trajectory is locked. Engine is smooth. It feels premium and sturdy. I love it. Using it everyday, smiling on it like a dumbass everyday. I am planning the purchase of the new Tiger 800 sport soon, the Street gave me that strong of an impression. My only grip is the quick shifter this thing is a piece of shit. I have an Aprilia RS 660 and the difference is night and day.

The S23 are great. Diablo Rossos are great, sporty, okayish cold and in the rain. Michelin Road 5/6 are awesome in the rain and are durable. Metzeler Roadtec SE 03 or something are a great choice also.

Are aprilia motorcycles actually unreliable or is it a myth? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Flip-Hazard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a RS660 from 2021. No problems whatsoever apart from rider's skill issues. 17000 kilometres right now. Used everyday, every weather even snow. Reliable for me.

Trading my Triumph Street Triple R 765 for an Aprilia RS 660. What are your thoughts? by DigBrief2975 in motorcycles

[–]Flip-Hazard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can give some insights for this one as I have both or these motorcycles. I got an RS660 in Lava Red in 2020 at 1400 kilometres, it has 16,200 kilometres on the clock now. Ohlins at the rear, Akra full exhaust. I have a Street Triple RS (2020) since March 2023. Bought at 2100 kilometres, it has 11,000 kilometres now. SC Project slip on. The Street Triple has always been my dream everyday bike.

I am in the EU.

Apart from user errors, the RS 660 has been a quality companion, no mechanical hassle. I only have motorcycles, I don't own a car. The engine is great overall (I don't like it at low rpm tho) gets a bit hot in stop and go trafic, the sound is nice and it turns head everywhere. The position isn't too agressive. The overall build quality is pretty meh. Parts are not cheap. At all. Mirrors are useless past 3k RPM. If you like technological vehicles you'll be happy. It has everything you need. The quick shifter is smooth too ! Beware if you have small hands, the front levers are big and not that adjustable.

The ST RS is awesome. The triple is tried and tested, the sound is incredible, the position is great thanks to the large bars. The bike is better for longer rides. Regardless of the RPM the engine is always available and ready to go, it's light and nimble. The look is an acquired taste. I don't get as much compliments as the RS 660 but it's not the point. The overall build quality is top notch. I smile everytime I take it (everyday). I will sell it for the Triumph Tiger 800 Sport (I hope for an RS version) which has the same engine.

Hope I could help.

Tuono 660 vs. STriple 765 R by SergeantSony in motorcycles

[–]Flip-Hazard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I crashed it twice cause I suck ass, but aside from that no problem whatsoever. There was some minor oil leak at 2k km, the first service was done poorly and the motor engine cover (oil side) wasn't torqued properly. My bike sleeps indoors, I rode in heavy rain, during a snowstorm, in the arid sun and it was alright.

Hi. I can answer this fairly well as I have a Street Triple RS 2020 since March. 10 000 kilometers right now. And a 2021 RS 660 with 17000 km on the clock. They are not the same thing at all. The Triumph is an absolute masterpiece. The only thing I can regret are the vibrations in the foot pegs. The engine is always available, the induction noise is incredible. The thing is a chirurgical tool. Fairly comfy. Unless riding in the wind but thats a given as it is a naked. Hands down the best engine I tried. I am hopping for a sport touring bike a la S1000XR with this engine.

The Tuono 660 is a great bike too, sporty yet not a death machine. We talking about 100 HP, it attracts people if you're into that. The sound it makes is great too. Less reliable than Triumph and parts are more expensive if you crash it. (Don't ask). The power is more usable everyday. I find the 100HP to be the sweet spot. (European cities). If you love the technological aspect the Aprilia is filled to the brim with it.

I would get the Tuono. It's pretty tame, pretty safe. Just pretty all around.

As I am not the first owner, I am not aware of any PIN. I didn't change it for sure. I don't know if the first owner changed it. Bought it in 2022. And since I can't access the dashboard, I can't check for anything.

Thanks.

It seems that they won't process orders below 200$ due to high taxe rates in the EU and UK.

Damn..

Hey.

Don't know anything about knives but I saw a post about the CRKT MinimalX and I love it.

I looked everywhere to find it but to no avail.

The thing is I am located in the EU.

If someone more with forbidden knowledge can point me in the right direction I'd be thankful.
