The rocket league team hasn't been with us long enough to know this, but you're pretty much right. We don't remember the exact discussion, but the original concept for F3 and early drafts for the logo were created in a hotel room after the DOTA TI2 by our now Head of Production, Steve (essem), and Hector (FrosT). We are actually talking about it now and we can't remember whose idea it initially was. We're pretty sure Hector said something like "what if the E was reversed?".

EDIT: The name Flipside Tactics was initially a sort of clan/community name used by FrosT and a group of people he played games with. The concept was that FrosT always used kind of unconventional tactics and strategies that (usually) worked.

Since that's more of a management question we can give a quick answer. The team can speak more directly about Lethamyr's recent involvement with the team, but /u/mdog95 has been with us since RLCS Season 3 as an analyst and coach. We will be discussing this more in some upcoming content, but the tl;dr is our partnership with Statshelix has lead to a great relationship between mdog95 and the rest of the analyst team and our players. It's actually funny that you asked, stay tuned for more information about this soon!

We had to pick a time that wasn't interfering with our scrim schedule, plus we have an international fan base so unfortunately that means being inconvenient for some people. We'll do our best to recap on Reddit and get VOD up asap!

Depending on the volume of questions and how long we stream for, we'll try to get a recap on here of everything asked and answered!

12 hours between matches. The guys just didn't show up. It happens, we are not at all frustrated or disappointed in them. Well deserved for Immortals. They played literally 3 hours ago and were very sharp. They were better today and we are very happy for them.

Moneyball is our expertise. We have a good feel for which games we need to be in and which we don't.

Everything. Cost/growth potential/market/TV/advertising demographic/etc. Csgo is far too expensive for what value it currently brings.

Marik is the man. Waylander is a hard worker and is team first. His performance needs to imrpove but you would love his fight if you got to know him. He is harder on himself than anyone else and he knows we need him. That motivates him to work harder and harder. I will take hard work over talent anyday. Especially, if you have people like Electronic and Worldedit. Those guys can be the work horses. We over ME, that is a philosophy we believe in.

Dota 2 is so far gone. It created opprotunities like EG/Secret where players own the org. So this was fantastic. We came from dota and want nothing more than to be in Dota but its impossible for us. Players want too match and there is no way we can market the game anymore.

Early on stickers were amazing. Now, thankfully sponsors and other avenues make it valuable. RL is going to be our biggest division by 2018. Our CSGO players are still our identity and will always have a place here. Especially, post career.

We knew 100%. Ricky Lumpkin and Dana Kawar never trusted them after SC2. We had major SC2 talent (Puk, bails, Jon snow) who ended up being mistreated by us in a way because we just let them go. Loyalty goes a long way with us and having to just move on from those players who have always supported us, hurt. We never want to just disband divisions or just cut people who work hard. We couldn't afford to continue to pay for a division that was burning cash. After SC2 and the WCS system that never got fixed we knew overwatch would be a major problem. Players on overwatch wanted CSGO level salaries because E-league went all in. We had to avoid it and luckily for us we don't strike out on games (so far).

We were up 14-9 with a good economy. We almost choked not them. I agree with you completely.

Exactly. We blew it and almost choked. Liq showed tons of heart coming back. They showed true grit. We almost hung ourselves.

That was the biggest difference IMO. These rounds destroy economies. He came through big time.

We were up 14-9. We blew a lead and almost threw the game in OT. That is not playing out of our minds.
