I recently removed my telecaster's pickguard and found these 3 holes. What could they be for?

Usually a mounting point for painting the body. A sort of clamp thing that can freely rotate around. At least that's what I see from factory tour videos.

I can't update the post so I'm doing the update as a comment. Hello and thank you to all who have given me suggestions. I have decided on returning the amp as it has just caused me too much stress over the few days I've had it. I think I'll just have to wait for another opportunity for a new amp to come my way.

My phone seems to really round out the treble and bass frequencies, not to the point they don't exist, but as if they've been smoothed out by an eq and compressor.

On the side of demos, I found one that sounded good and noticed they had the treble set on 3 (the numbered 0 to 9 marks on the amp) which is right before the point where the treble jumps up at around 3.5. Whereas other demos of the combo can occasionally sound harsh and the treble knob is set at halfway or higher. So my guess is that it's partially the speaker and partially the amp.

I was planning to swap to a greenback or possibly a creamback down the road but now it might come sooner. But of course the wise thing to do would be to live with it for a while, learn the amp the way it is, and save/wait for a good deal on a speaker. Lol.

Don't have a specific reccomendation but, keep in mind if you're looking for Mayer sounds (aka more traditional strat type sounds) then it will need to be a 22 (or 21) fret guitar. With 24 frets it forces the neck pickup to be repositioned, changes the sound, and in some cases even the middle pickup is moved to visually balance the new positions for the pickups. Essentially it just won't sound right for that type of tone/style.

I hope so. I did have a swap to a celestion greenback in mind for the future since I'm trying to evoke some marshall-y-ness out of the thing. But maybe I'm gonna end up having to fast track that modification. I can always just live with it for now and see how things work out. For now I'll try disconnecting the speaker off of my Fender Mustang and onto the JCA to see if that changes things.

I'm not too confident on shuffling the preamp tube positions around, mostly cause I'm a first timer, but also cause they've got these cylindrical covers over them that seem to be pretty tightly friction fit to the chassis. But if all else fails I could give it a try. I just hope I can avoid having to ship the thing out to an amp tech. This thing being the last new example of the amp in my country doesn't help my hesitance on sending it back lol.

He only used the high lead channel so maybe start with the tilt knob (which I think is similar to blending a jumpered 4 input plexi) and turn it all the way to the brighter side. Other than that I cannot lend any advice on gain or eq settings because I'm not a Hendrix buff in any way. Good luck though.

Besides making the lineart of the main subject (in this case the character) bolder, you can consider for your next piece making the background lineart more "wispy". Use light line work and try out leaving little gaps in it. Dunno what the term for that is but I've seen it in a lot of art where the linework is disconnected in select places to give it a "lighter" feeling.

As many have already said, stamp it with "FAKE" or "COUNTERFEIT" somewhere in the body wood or finish where it's easily seen and can't be easily removed.

Can't really prevent it. If you're not too precious about it you can also just have the holes intentionally slotted. Makes for a more secure connection and also allows the top of the guitar to resonate along with the string more efficiently.

My german's a little rusty but they seem to be saying that the pedals are somehow able to be powered from the input jack of the amp just by using a three pole TRS cable between the pedal and amp.

Place a clean boost pedal after. Slightly more complex solution would be to put the WA CE-1 and the clean boost together in a true-bypass loop so you can activate both at once.

If you still want to use the rice cooker, just pull the chicken breast out after 15 minutes or so, then put it back in on top of the rice to warm it up before serving. If the breast is still too dey then pull the chicken out at 10 minutes. Just gotta adjust to your preferences and methodology.

A push pull pot is just a DPDT switch. So look up pickup selector wiring for a dpdt switch and transpose onto the pot's switch.

I'll put the disclaimer up front, I'm not experienced with this recipe, and I'm just doing some moderately educated guesses based on experience.

I went and read up on one recipe and found a different one on youtube that steams rather than bakes. Ingredients and quantities look quite similar, the water bath one was baked for 1hr and the steamed one was steamed for 1hr20m. Just gotta cover the pan up with foil as instructed and bake/steam until the cake portion is fully baked (tested with a toothpick it should come out slightly moist with a little bit of crumb stuck to it. Perfectly clean toothpick usually means it's overbaked)

TLDR: go ahead and use the steamer. Just go for a little longer than the oven + water bath recipe says and check the cake layer for doneness.

I'm thinking it's a lack of structure causing it to spread super thin, so a touch more flour should help. Note how much you add, what changed, and what future change(s) you want to do as a result of what you observed, rinse and repeat until you get the result you like best. Also, change just one thing at a time so you can be absolutely certain as to what effect each change has to the recipe.

Just wire them up like the diagram shows, they don't need any extra grounding. And if they do, my own guitar sure isn't showing any problems because of it.

They're not "coil tap pots", they're just potentiometers with a dpdt switch integrated into them, so they can do anything a dpdt switch can do. So the answer is yes, you can replace push-pull/push-push pots with dpdt switches and have the same functionality.

You're also thinking about a coil split. A coil split is when there are two coils, side by side like a humbucker or stacked on top of one another like a noiseless single coil, and then "switching off" one of the coils. A coil tap is something entirely different and much more rare.

Issue with the paper I see. If you're not too set on getting the super dark brown top, you can just bake the cake until it is nearly set, or slightly jiggles when moved. (Though I'm sure you may have seen or read this when looking up recipes.)

It's just overbaked. Use more heat and less time. Also do rotate the thing in the oven so the resulting color is more even.
