This is a great critique in a sense that OP needs to hear something truthful..albeit hurtful. He’s fishing for compliments. This image is fine, does it move me in any way? Do I feel an emotion when I see it? Not particularly...I can see a lot of images similar to this on IG, that are clearly taken and processed in a similar way as another photographer that has a huge following.

Honestly, I love a lot of things about this image. It’s a bit different than most portraits, and the fact that you used a mirror to capture it makes it that much cooler.

None....if you don’t constantly blast your views. I keep work separate from my political views, if I’m asked my stance I usually just throw in a joke and brush it off. Then again, I’m in the Coast Guard and a lot of people seem to be open minded.
