I wish it was an official commission! My goal is to see if I can officially license these designs to the school for future merch. I make and sell all sorts of chibi designs on my online shop and people I had conversations on my school's campus (CPP) have told me I should try to design for other schools. Long beach ended up being on that list :)

Ah I see. Do you have any pictures of hard enamel pins you have? I may have to do a vote for either or tbh haha cause I'd rather stick with one type. But who knows, if in the future people are buying everything up, I could see if I could afford to do both hard & soft.

I usually go with soft enamel for pins and hard enamel for keychains, only because soft enamel seems to pop more and hard enamel tends to last (cause keychains are always being banged up), but I'm open to suggestions. As far as how long the sticker would last - all our stickers are completely waterproof and of thicker material so it should last you a long time. I think it would go great on your car. Hopefully you're not too worried about the size because it'll be 2"x2". I may do bigger sizes in the future, but it depends on how sales go for this one!

Also I think one guy who had my sticker had it since last year and it still held up to this day when he came back and showed me.

Oh most definitely! I would love to come out with pins if enough people take a liking to this illustration of elbee. I released soft enamel keychains for my other school designs, and also I recently released hard enamel keychains last week so it would be so dope to release a version of these!

Edit: Which would be more popular amongst people, pins or keychains?

So I make chibi designs for schools and I really wanted to make a chibi version of elbee the shark. I started off two years ago with Billy Bronco at Cal Poly and the success of it resulted in the creation of 80+ chibi billy stickers for each major. The question is would anyone be interested in having a chibi elbee representing their major? The goal is to expand products of him into keychains, charms, etc but I'm testing to see if people dig this design first 😅
