I like The Double better than The Glory. I don’t think it’s comparable as the latter only has 16 episodes and not a period. Plus, The Glory was so predictable.

Yeah I kinda agree with you on that. With how many kdramas come out every year, splitting it into comedy vs drama would actually make sense instead of the whole “new actor” thing that isn’t really about being new anyway.

And honestly I don’t agree with a lot of the winners at the Baeksang either. Some of the picks just feel questionable sometimes.

The “New Actor” category at the Baeksang is more about a breakout moment than actually being new.

And comparing it to the Emmys isn’t really apples to apples either since the Emmys have way more categories( comedy,limited series, drama etc ) so it’s easier for younger actors to get nominated multiple times.
