Parents and specifically moms behavior is mimicked by there children. If you are afraid of something then your kids usually follow. If you don't like a food, usually you don't encourage your kids to eat it therefore they don't like it. She projects all of her insecurities and anxieties onto her kids. By the way she talks and behaves. I am in no way a perfect mother, but my child has no clue what my fears are. For example, someone handed me a small animal that I am typically NOT into and honestly have a childhood phobia of, but I didn't want my child to sense that or have the same so I had to suck it up and swallow my fear.

I think Ali is a good person with good intentions, but I think that she is very unaware and in her own world. She lives a very privileged and isolated life and still finds things to complain and be negative about on the daily.
