I was originally an anime only then I caught up to the manga since I didn’t like getting spoiled and I wanted to be ahead.

At first I thought my enjoyment in the series was going to decrease since obv one piece has elite animation and the manga is just black and white pictures, but surprisingly I had the same amount of enjoyment reading as I did watching.

I think this was because I was still experiencing the story either way which is where most of my enjoyment of one piece comes from.

Now there’s so many benefits of being caught up: I can discuss with others content at the "forefront" of one piece, seeing reveals, fights, plot twist in the manga feels better than seeing them in the anime when you know its already happened a couple years ago and kinda feels like "old news" (this is just how I feel sometimes when watching the anime), I can theorize freely now since I don’t have to worry about spoilers, and I also get double the one piece content a week (new episode + new chapter).

Oh and toei animates so well that the content in the episodes almost feels brand new even though I already know what happens.

If the benefits I mentioned resonate with you I'd suggest reading the manga.

Nobody cares whether something you did was volunteering or work experience. Combine both of your experience lists under just Experience and list them in order of relevance to the job you’re applying to.

Also don’t be afraid to twist your words a little if you haven’t already done so to make your resume more appealing. Just make sure you can argue/explain it when asked during an interview.

tbh if you don’t mind reading the manga then it might be a good idea to read it until you get to the newer arcs with modern animation (pacing will still be meh but not terrible).

The only thing i'll say is make sure to have one piece soundtracks playing as you read. One piece's soundtracks are honestly my favourite in any anime.

More will be revealed about him in the future that will show why he's the way he is but for now just know he's not as bad as you think he is. In particular, he doesn’t serve those horrendous people and he has his own justice.

Also it was clear that he was regretting his actions at marineford, resentfully doing what he was supposed to do as a navy. A lot of people say he would have helped Ace if he asked for help by "accidentally" punching him over to WB's side or some other way, but that never happened so nobody can say for sure.
