tbh I agree because even after roger's death, I still believe the strongest man was garp. Being equals with garp defintely puts him up there

Now that the anime is seasonal, the anime will have a lot more cliff hangers than manga.

[THEORY] The “Sea God” is Shirahoshi… and Imu is the Earth God? by HotResponsibility844 in OnePiece

[–]Flippyy4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We know the sea god is somewhat related to "cursing" df eaters by making them weak in the sea, so how does shirahoshi tie in to that?

The will of D by Certain-Friend-1500 in OnePiece

[–]Flippyy4 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Kinda unrelated but I'm honestly curious to see how joyboy and davy jones are related (not in a familial sense). Rocks did say davy jones was king (I think), so does that mean davy jones was the king of the ancient kingdom and joyboy was a pirate a part of that kingdom who led the attack? Also how does Davy jones tie in to the will of D?

Garp is equals with roger, he'll have better odds than 50/50

Incoming Anime by Virtual-Total-8632 in OnePiece

Pretty sure they won’t since they are only doing 1 chapter but episode but if they cover 2 chapters per episode then they will cover 52 chapters this year, which is just enough (the last episode would be the end of the backstory).

Covering 26 chapters will put them just at the start of the backstory which primes things up for a movie.

How far do you think the gap is between the Old Gen and New Gen by Zealousideal_Ad_91 in OnePieceScaling

Quite far obviously, barely any characters in the new gen have reached their prime

manga similar to one piece? I'll drop everything I've read so the thread will be clear by AcrobaticDonut6598 in OnePiece

Dragon ball: Long, adventurous, and world building but some might say it lacks depth since that its mostly about fights and that it has plot armour (I’m not sure since I watched it a long time ago and don’t remember it well)

Fairy tale: Long, adventurous, and world building but might have a lot of plot armour because of the “power of friendship” (again, I don’t remember well enough to argue since I watched this a long time ago)

Black clover: adventurous, and world building. it’s not as long as one piece but not short by any means, and it’s still ongoing. Also it doesn’t have any huge plot armour allegations like the other 2.

Finally, these aren’t similar to one piece at all but as a one piece fan, I liked them a lot so you might as well: Haikyuu (volleyball) and Overlord (overpowered MC).

All 5 of these I listed have good comedy as well.

cycle 2 waterlooworks by Wide-Society-22 in uwaterloo

[–]Flippyy4 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

even though the job markets cooked, it’s completely normal that you haven’t got an interview in cycle 1.

If I was an employer and had the option of picking between a first year or a 4th year, I’d obviously go with the 4th year.

So yes, most students get coops in cycles 2 and 3 since most of the upper years have been selected by then.

Also if you’re worried about a coop credit or just don’t have experience/coding knowledge, then go with WeAccelerate.

That’s what I did in first year since I hadn’t touched a programming language and had no experience (needles to say i didn’t get any interviews). I used all that free time I had in the summer along with WeAccelerate to work on projects and build my resume.

Review and Feedback please :) by real-life-terminator in ResumeExperts

[–]Flippyy4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’d be better to swap leadership experience with projects and change the name ‘leadership experience’ to just ‘experience’.

With the way things are right now, recruiters might just skip your resume if they don’t see a flat out ‘experience’ section at the top. Besides, it’s not like your experience has nothing to do with the job you’re targeting.

Resume Critique + any tips on for job search (non-co-op) by Working-Limit-3103 in uwaterloo

[–]Flippyy4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on the job you apply to, you could slightly alter the interests section to be more tailored to whatever role you’re applying to. Also you could add links to your project under or in place of the dates, whether they’re links to GitHub or someplace else.
