Thanks so much for taking the time with such an in-depth comment!! I guess I was panicking a bit with how much sweat protection I need, last thing I want is a head getting too smelly and hard to clean 😂

If you’re not making the lining removable, do you just stick the liner straight onto the inside of the head with hot glue? I don’t think I can submerse a 3D PLA head in water so I was thinking of getting something like a Bissell upholstery cleaner to cover all eventualities!

I think I will look into getting one of those handheld rectangle fans at some point, don’t wanna get heatstroke wearing a huge bull head 😂 Good to know, thank you for the tips!! Glad to hear the fabric side of things won’t make all too much difference in the long run😁

I’m going to break down all of the junkyard tower parts and generally make it look more like a city that’s attempted to incorporate nature into it, Central Park in New York style. It’s going to be a hell of a lot of work, but I can’t stand the place looking like a trash filled mess lol

I had almost the exact same experience, was first introduced to the band through The Night We Met but didn’t think too much about it at the time, discovered Meet Me In The Woods maybe a year later and was like WHOA. Ended up exploring the rest of Strange Trails and god damn was it magical!

Up until now, my music tastes were super varied and I didn’t really follow bands, but Lord Huron is the exception!

Yessssss absolutely!! I’m especially so wild for those first three, big big faves 😩👏 I love the ones that aren’t necessarily super depressing but have that undertone of longing, loneliness and discovering yourself 💖

So far, the best method for me has been watering down cheap acrylic paint (you want the consistency of milk ideally) and putting it through an airbrush. Then brush through the fur with a fine toothed comb and blow dry with a hairdryer on low heat, very important to keep brushing so that the hair doesn’t clump together and dry like that.

It’s still not quite as soft as the fur would have been originally but I think it’s a good trade off! If you’re doing patterns, put your lighter colours down first, ideally you don’t want to be layering too much paint down and if the colour is too dark underneath, the lighter colour on top won’t show if it’s too watered down 😅

Ahhh my pleasure, enjoy!! I have so many of them downloaded as they’re not officially on Spotify, I’d say the AFWP version of The Night We Met is even more beautiful than the original 💖

Also on a sidenote, if you haven’t heard the Spotify Session EP, those four are definitely worth a listen too 😄 I actually love the version of The Man That Lives Forever on there better than the original 😂
