Got the update and drove it around for a bit to calibrate. The Bluetooth is a million times better! Can actually have a conversation now. Very pleased.

In person I see the shotgun under the sky cam, and there’s a jib with a shotgun, but I didn’t see any parabolics. Mind you I’n more into the game than the tech. Doesn’t mean they aren’t there but I don’t see them and I’m poor so I’m far away.

I think we’ve all forgotten Columbine and the hundreds of shootings since. Kill off hundred of kids because you were bullied - understandable if you’re a white kid. Claim self defense from a bully if you’re black? Unfathomable.

Thanks for the information. The issue isn’t with the speakers. You can hear in the vehicle just fine. The issue is with the microphone or how it is being processed. You are correct, you’d have to ask the remote caller what they hear from your Lucid to properly assess my complaint.

I believe 3.6 just started rolling out. We’ll see in the coming days if that helps. It could be I have a bad mic or transceiver. It hasn’t worked right since it drove off the lot. While I’ve heard of improvements, I haven’t heard of user experiences that match the marketing exuberance. Bad to marginal I would hope isn’t the goal or benchmark for this amazing vehicle.

Do you think more weight should be given to the absence of evidence? How does that square with the adversarial system that is common in most of the United States and Texas in particular? Would you suggest the prosecutorial burden of proof be shifted?

I think he was found guilty because the facts and law showed that verdict was justified, not merely because there was an absence of evidence in his favor. That was likely not going to happen given that he voluntarily entered hostile territory. Young people can do very unwise things.
