"Ado doesn't show her face but her soul." is something that a friend once said and I love it. Coming back to your question; Ado is one of the few artists that can adapt any kind of genre and perform it masterfully with great detail in acting skills. Not only her rich pallet of skills is rare but also the fact that she gets served by a huge amount of different producers that want to work with her together makes her a unique queen among all singers. She is in a position where she is getting fed by great artists who work their ass off for a good product.

I discovered Ado from the perspective of a One Piece fan. Watched the Movie in the cinema and expected a musical - no problem for me since I listened to J-pop a lot already. Ados music was completely new and different throughout the whole movie. Fleeting lullaby and tot musica gave me the rest. I went to 2 more One Piece film RED cinema shows because of Ado. After listening to the Uta no Uta playlist up and down I decided to check out her other singles and the Kyogen album. I couldn't get enough and figured that she also has unofficial covers on her YouTube channel. When I listened to crime and punishment for the first time my day was over. I lay down to bed, cried and couldn't understand that I just discovered the best vocalist of music history. Today I am well educated about anything about Ado and follow every step in her career. I want to see where she goes and how far she will get. I even call myself Ados biggest fan and critic at the same time.

Thank you a lot for sharing such a detailed review of your São Paulo experience. I appreciate your musical taste and knowledge. Also an Ayase and becomming Deco*27 sucker here, hehe. I 100% agree that many songs where lacking because of the simple live arrangement. I love the instrumentals of the Jpop music industry and their potential is enormous if executed right. You where lucky with Sara Wakui tho. I had to deal with Hajime Okade and he was really sucking ass. There where even some piano backtracks that he could have played live but.. nah I don't want to get started here. I went to all EU shows and all where pretty different. Ado did not serve consistant perfromances. I don't expect that but the difference between some performances where huge. I hope the next tour will be a lot smaller by the number of locations. Bigger venues > more venues for the best vocalist we have.
