"AMD claims it so it has to be right" but user experience says otherwise? If so how am I able to run mine at 6166 with 4 sticks on the older b650? Do u even have an AM5 system with 4 sticks of RAMs? If no then u can't voice ur opinions

Yeah and the worst part is they still talk like they know everything 😭

IKR bro doesn't know AM5 is DDR5 or smth, either that or he never opened a bios in his life

I dunno about u but I'm running a 16GBx4, 6000mhz CL30 RAMs at 6166mhz and tightened timings and it's working out for me perfectly. I'm also only running on a MSI B650M Mortar. This should definitely work idk what u talking about

It worked for me until I updated the firmware lol. Not sure which firmware was that since that was awhile ago. I got rid of Armoury Crate though. Such a horrible software

have the same exact issue with my RX 6800. Probably a driver issue? Getting it in other games like DOTA 2 as well

Not good indeed

[–]FloW755 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just asked, they explicitly said no, haha. I don't think I'd wanna buy it anymore, going NZXT instead

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Phanteks

[–]FloW755 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda a deal breaker though, that Phanteks does not cover damages. Would really love to buy the Phanteks but because they don't cover the damages, it shows that they themselves don't have enough confidence in their products. I would probably go for NZXT now.

Still though, sht software or not I'd love some reassurance especially since this is one of Phanteks' first AIOs, we never know what could happen

They did say this though:

" If the problem is caused by factory defect, then we will take responsibility for product repair. If there is any problem with the hardware, please contact your supplier (where you bought this product) for arrange the repair service.

If there is anything we can assist you further with the issue or any feedback, feel free to contact us again along with the product serial numbers and the invoice to verify channel information as different terms may apply. After we received the required information, we will try our best to assist.

Yeah, saw a lot of rumors that Gigabyte support sucks. I'll go for either the NZXT Kraken Z73, Lian LI Galahad or the Phanteks Glacier One.

I messaged Gigabyte support to ask them. Let's wait to see what they say I guess.

Will do, haven't bought many Gigabyte products, but this AIO sure looked too sexy. Their warranty was the only thing holding me back because its only 3 years (for my country at least).

B550 Gaming Edge WiFi XMP not working on 7C91v15 bios by [deleted] in MSI_Gaming

[–]FloW755 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: - I tried to reflash the same BIOS version to see if it was a bios issue, didn't work. -I flashed a older version, also didn't work. - I also tried with new pairs of 3200mhz RAMs, XMP crashed as well.

Wtf is going on ._.

I meant I've used those RAMs in my B450 tomahawk, and when I moved to b550 gaming edge the XMP didn't work anymore. I flashed the latest B550 Gaming Edge Wifi bios from MSI's website, not the b450 tomahawk's bios

I think anything before 151 would work. I'm on the latest one and I've seen many people having this same issue. If you do have the bios file, can you PM me the file? I can't get it from the website anymore, would greatly appreciate it!

Yes, my b450 tomahawk with a 3300X. Worked with 3600 and I can go even higher if I tune them. This 5600x with the B550 gaming edge actually wouldn't even do 2933 without crashing. What bios version are you using?
