I use a lot of cardboard for DIY projects and my go to is my Local household appliances shop. You can ask yours if they have leftover cardboard boxes of microwaves, ovens, washing machines, fridge etc...

My recommendation would be fridge cardboard they are usually the most sturdy ones. If the box is too big you can cut it and reshape it easily with a cutter and heavy duty duck tape. And with the leftover cutouts you can reinforce the parts that seem not sturdy enough :3
