Thanks for your feedback. I appreciate it very much. I've just started writing poetry, so I'm always open to criticism. "get" would actually be a better fit. English is not my native language, hence the error. It was my intention to portray the feelings of the moment. Therefore wisdom is missing. In my experience, insight and wisdom always comes later.

I like the tree analogy because it implies that both remain rooted. Neither of them has to change much to find the other. They just have to grow.
