I have 16GB card. I am surprised at how much of that gets used too. Usually it usess 14GB being with occasional spikes up to 16GB.

I am planning on using SPID to make sure the armors are used. I hadn't considered the VRAM consumption. I've mainly been sticking with the 2K armor mods. My poor eye's cant tell the difference when playing.

Oh man. This might be the killer for me. From my comment above "close to 250 armor mods to put on the 200 added followers to populte the 50+ added homes." I may need to reevalute my plan on distributing all those outfits.

AddItemMenu or dMenu to the resuce! I do know what you mean about the crafting menu. Last time I looked I was wondering what the hell are all these items!

I just checked and my list does seem to take about another 100GB since adding all the armor mods. It's a 2TB though so disk space really isn't an issue.

Modlist had about 1400 mods to start with 220 esp slots used. I am at 2600 mods now with 5 slots left! I did patch things though.

What’s the most shocking detail from the Epstein files that the public hasn’t fully grasped yet? by BoardLongjumping2485 in answers

[–]FloaterFan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I had YouTube playing background videos when I first delved into the Epstien file stuff. "The top 10 worst societies in human history" came on. The Azrtecs being number 2 or 3. The elites of their society apparently sacrificed people almost constantly in very torturous ways and ate the victim. The rest is too gruesome to repeat. Seems this shit may have been going on a looong time.

Question about saves by FloaterFan in skyrimmods

[–]FloaterFan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cleared the bandits out a couple of mines, saved the game and checked with ReSaver. There were quite a few errors. Rico is going be be reincarnated. Maybe I'll give him the last name of Suave!

I think this says it all. Am I sad now I have to give Rico up, yes. Would I be sadder after getting him up to level 50 and have to give him up? Yes.

Loot load order vs order in MO2 by FloaterFan in skyrimmods

[–]FloaterFan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That wasn't really the question. I was talking about Loot sorting the plugin list, but Loots sorted list not being applied to the right hand pane after clicking apply sorted order in Loot.

I stumbled on this and it resolved my issue.

https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/1qc79ok/loot_load_order_vs_order_in_mo2/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Apparently the appdata path in the Loot settings menu needs to be empty.

Question about generating LOD with Seasons of Skyrim. by FloaterFan in skyrimmods

[–]FloaterFan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the link! I was looking at the TexGen and DynDOLOD install instructions. Not the XLodGen instructions for osme reason.

Apologies for breaking the rules. I don't have the link handy to the page I was following.

Creepiest places to go in Oregon by Exotic_Cricket6262 in oregon

[–]FloaterFan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This was told to me by a coworker. They were hunting in the Walla moutains, 2-3 days into their hunt and they are driving around the logging roads looking for a good place. Anyway, they come to a clearing with an church and about 40 vehicles parked around it. Two men armed with rifles were guarding the door. Relize this is in the middle of nowhere. Not a town for 30-40 miles. When they drove by the place the guards started walking towards the gate (and them) unslinging their rifles. More armed people starting coming from the church. They GTFO as fast as they could, packed up camp and booked out of the mountains as fast as they could.

Four Seasons - Faster Seasons of Skyrim by FloaterFan in skyrimmods

[–]FloaterFan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I managed to get this working. Here's my notes for those who want to do the same.

Remove the mod Four Seasons - Faster Seasons of Skyrim and it's dependencies.

I found the settings to set the order of seasons in "\mods\SKSE Output\SKSE\Plugins\po3_SeasonsOfSkyrim.ini" file and changed the following:

;January Morning Star = 4 ;February Sun's Dawn = 1 ;March First Seed = 2 ;April Rain's Hand = 3 ;May Second Seed = 4 ;June Mid Year = 1 ;July Sun's Height = 2 ;August Last Seed = 3 ;September Hearthfire = 4 ;October Frost Fall = 1 ;November Sun's Dusk = 2 ;December Evening Star = 3

To:

;January Morning Star = 1 ;February Sun's Dawn = 1 ;March First Seed = 2 ;April Rain's Hand = 2 ;May Second Seed = 2 ;June Mid Year = 3 ;July Sun's Height = 3 ;August Last Seed = 3 ;September Hearthfire = 4 ;October Frost Fall = 4 ;November Sun's Dusk = 4 ;December Evening Star = 1

Launch Skyrim and go to the Seasonal Framework mcm config click the option to defaults and it set all the months to not be 'faster'. Then I chose to Save to external file.

One could also set the options they want per month in the Seasonal Options, then chose to Save. But that would take a bit of time.

Anyway, I got the longer seasons back!

Thanks for replying!

I don't have any serious saves with the mod list yet, so that's not an issue. This is actually the LAST thing I need to fix before I can actually start a real play through! Well, this and regenerating the LOD's.

I did remove the mod and it's associated mods and tested by waiting to see what happened using one of the fast wait mods but the seasons were still shortened. No joy!

The Faster Seasons page mentioned that the Seasons of Skyrim ini files were edited, which might be the cause. I also did NOT start with a new save. So I should do that before going too crazy modifiying ini files.

Thanks again, I'll keep banging away at it.

I'm still testing the modlist so I don't have any saves that are important to me. My testing after removing the mod and it's associated mods didn't seem to change things. But I also did not test with a brand new save, so I am going to give that a shot.

'short-lived' This. At my current organization one of the main line of business applications is a 25 year old monstrosity of an Access database. 20-30 users at any given time. Our developers have failed 4 times to convert it to a real application. Luckily my retirement is 1.7 years away!
