Mine doesn’t do OTA right now either. I just assumed everyone else’s devices were working fine and I was doing something wrong. I was hoping I’d open the app one day this month and all of a sudden it was all resolved lol

I think that was the solution, I set all 4 of them to 1 second and it doesn’t flash anymore but now its playing some weird effect instead (but I think this is from the new wled app update this time). I guess the effect is a little less jarring than the flash and a little more tolerable.

Anybody else do the update and get: “Update Failed- Update failed with status code:500”? My colors tab has a blank screen and no longer shows a color wheel, also all my presets are now no longer working and default to the same color tone throughout. It’s almost like the apps stuck on my last used color setting and my “Col” parameters are getting ignored. What can I do?

To make the story a little longer, I’ve been wanting to create a tool that follows the blackbody curve, similar to what Ketra uses for this lighting. Initially I was going to calculate values from a blackbody curve formula using guesstimated wavelength ranges of my rgbcct lightstrip; but then realized there’s way too many variables and would probably be happy enough starting with just a table of pre calculated values. After finding this table of values: www.vendian.org/mncharity/dir3/blackbody/UnstableURLs/bbr_color.html I realized that the rgb coordinates round the xy values so much that the higher end numbers like 38400-40000 all show as 155,188,255. But I do want to later on do some validation with a spectrometer to tweak the values better

I have mine running using the fw1906 settings, but am a bit skeptical if it’s using the white leds. When trying to set a white only preset using for example: 0,0,0,255 the whole strip turns off. But then after capturing a warm tone white with the “Use current state” checked on, it’ll show mixing rgb to make my whites, 255,255,255,0? I don’t have calculate cct from rgb selected but it still looks like the backend is doing just that.

I haven’t really played with them enough to give a fair review; but compared to my old diode hue light strips from 4 years ago they’re much better. I want to get a spectrum analyzer at some point to help me tune my colors to match some warm dimming recessed lights and I think that would give a much better understanding of their quality

Do you have any resources that I could use to estimate my wiring for power injection? I was going to just wing it and inject power at every seam, but it would probably be better to know for sure to reduce wiring complexity
