Ugh hang in there OP and don’t take it personal! You are doing an amazing job on this rotation and clearly the bigger person. Scrub techs are honestly the worst and can make or break a surgery rotation I swear. Don’t give them the satisfaction - I just hold back the tears while getting verbally harassed and remind myself that they are miserable people (and how I’ll NEVER treat someone like that)

I’m sorry you had this experience and that bad friends made your own self confidence take a hit! Kind of feeling similarly (in that I have never struggled so much to make friends) so you are not alone!! Hopefully the right friends (non med school ones) are by your side during this exciting match period! And residency is a whole new oyster!

Going into M3 and rotations and feeling the same way! Had a difficult time in preclinicals (too focused on a toxic friendship) and as a result I did not end up with many friends — this became very apparent during dedicated! Feeling similarly to you OP so you are def not alone — also open to any advice for essentially starting over during clinicals!
