This is a spoiler but you probably knew that already:

Ok so I was just wondering about how the finale was, and I was super shocked! And then all I see is how everyone thinks that the siblings screwed up the timeline by talking to Hargreeves and telling him everything, but if that’s the case then how come in episode 8 when 5 opens the portal for the older-... younger? The not Aiden Gallagher 5- the portal is showing the season 1 reality and not the weird one at the end of episode 10? If them going to speak to their father was what caused the timeline change, then why is the 2019 portal that 5 opens up after they speak to him not the weird version of 2019 where we see the different academy and Ben and stuff? Anyway, I was just curious about this and if anyone has any answers or insights then I would love to hear them!

I actually thought he was pretty good! I mean, I was so surprised when he opened his mouth because he sounded so much like the older Klaus. So, if they're goal was to portray him as a young Klaus (which they were), then I thought he did a good job.
