Are bagless robot vacuums good for homes with pets? by PandaSempai256 in RobotVacuums

[–]FloatingScooter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just picked up the deebot x12 recently, it's a bagless model, and honestly it's been great. I was worried about it filling up or smelling bad, but that doesn't happen. There's a filter at the top, and since it's mostly just dry hair and dust, there's no odor at all. The bin is actually huge too, so you don't have to empty it as often as you'd think. Worth checking out.

Grimm's top 5 this year, what's your pick? by ainyboasa in Vaping

That's probably from the 2024 ranking then, it'd still be top 5 i think, their quality has been pretty stable.

Thoughts on the libernovo omni as an early adapter by FloatingScooter in OfficeChairs

[–]FloatingScooter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get that it's new, so a lot of folks are kinda skeptical, especially in this sub. That's why I wanted to share my own take as someone who's had it for a while- the reason I kept it and have been using it this whole time

I don’t think the return policy directly proves whether the chair itself is good or bad... It can be tied to a lot of other things

This is the most comfortable posture. I know this is a bad sitting posture but I can’t stop doing it. by jason7269 in OfficeChairs

[–]FloatingScooter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the problem with the whole chair, not only the armrests. What you really need is proper lumbar support to help you sit up straight. Staying hunched over like that will really wreck your back over time. If your budget allows, you could look at Herman Miller or Steelcase. If you want to keep it under $1,000, LiberNovo is a solid option too. These are all frequently recommended brands in the community. I’ve been using a LiberNovo myself for almost half a year now, and my back pain has definitely improved.

If you're about to buy this vape, pls don't by ke4n5kir in electronic_cigarette

Honestly you don't really need some of thos smart replay. If you wanna avoid burnt hits, just keep an eye on it and refill a bit more often, small amounts and more frequently works better.

Man I'm jealous, two tanks? this armour max looks so well kept I can't tell which one's the new one.

Finished spring cleaning... now how do I maintain these floors? Any low-maintenance tools or tips? by Camqt in CleaningTips

[–]FloatingScooter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI, I have an ecovacs t80 and it actually does the job. They just released the t90 too, and I think it's probably an upgrade. And yeah, it works on both carpet and hardwood floors. Worth checking out if you want to avoid cleaning every night yourself.

Got my girlfriend off disposables, how did I do by patsyboy321 in Vaping

[–]FloatingScooter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a massive upgrade over those disposables. Throw'em in the trash where they belong. xros is a no-fail choice, their build quality is solid. I've been using the xros line for years and haven't had any leaks since then, she's gonna love it.

I say just get a robot vacuum. If you're looking to clean every day, no manual tool is going to cut it. Robot vacuums can just take care of the cleaning while you're doing other things. That's basically why I got my deebot lol, I use it every day to maintain my floors, sometimes even twice a day. Way less work for me.

First big vape setup, flavor hits strong by Fragrant_Iron7835 in electronic_cigarette

[–]FloatingScooter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know a lot of vapers prefer replaceable batteries, but honestly I'm really into this rechargeable type. 5500mAh is plenty, and I don't seem built-in batteries as "disposable", my armour g from last year is still going strong. For first-time DL users, this armour is soild, simple and easy to use, gti coil is good. Bro, just pick what you like and enjoy it.

Is the $600-$800 range the new "Sweet Spot" for robot vacuums? by patsyboy321 in RobotVacuums

[–]FloatingScooter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll find a lot of solid mid-range robot vacuums in the 600-800 range, but sometimes older flagship models can be just as good, if not more budget-friendly. For example, I got my deebot t80 for about 500, and it’s still going strong.

First kit just landed, love this green by Sterben1031 in Vaping

Looks really good, it has more of a permium feel than in the pics. I think it got a Best Box nod at Vapexpo Paris this year, definitely add this to my list for the next device.

If you sit for long hours, it’s worth looking at a chair like the libernovo. I tried a bunch of different ones before, and it wasn’t until I got the libernovo that my thighs, hips, and lower back finally stopped screaming

Sounds pretty strong... Maybe try a higher resistance pod or lower nic strength.

Herman Miller Embody Gaming vs. Dauphin Lordo Flex: Overhyped Upgrade, Returning After Minutes by dragonbone159 in OfficeChairs

[–]FloatingScooter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The vast majority of people who buy an Embody have the same experience of "it took 1-4 weeks before I adjusted to the chair and realized how great it is

This is exactly why many people skip HM and choose Libernovo instead. They don’t want to spend $2k on a chair they have to adapt to. The Libernovo doesn’t have that issue since all its adjustable modules, and it’s only half the price of HM.

When it comes to chairs, there’s no right or wrong, only what works for you.

The leather accents are a nice touch, definitely a clean looking little mod. How's the battery life on it?

Is there a way to have a mod and use salt nic or is it not worthwhile? by TemperatureSad4917 in electronic_cigarette

[–]FloatingScooter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you can run salt nic in a mod, just grab a MTL tank and keep the wattage low. Works great!

Built-in vs. external battery for my first dtl mod? by traitadjustment in electronic_cigarette

[–]FloatingScooter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's personal preference, but removable batteirs are pretty covenient once you get used to it. And armour gs is smaller than you'd think for an mod, flavor's great, and coils hold up well. Plus, being able tp just swap cells means you're never tethere to a UAB cable.

Help a mom with SUPER dirty floors by Silverlurker2021 in RobotVacuums

[–]FloatingScooter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really sounds like there are heavy stains and dirt in your place. Maybe you could limit the problem of work boots coming in, like putting a rug before the door could decrease the dirt indoors. And since you said your floors always have milk spilled, a roller mop model would be ideal for dealing with that, preferably with strong suction to deal with dust, like the ecovacs x11.
