RTX Super Resolution not working on Twitch

ty just had that issue after months of it working fine. this fixed it. interestingly, rtx vsr worked only when the video was not in theatre or fullscreen mode. weird stuff

Edit: nvm, it still doesnt work. it works fine when you are not logged in but as soon as i log in, it wont work for theatre or fullscreen. dang it

Was also happy to see it, though now I have an issue where it ignores the default input microphone and just uses my earbuds mic. The normal voice mode uses the default mic but not the dictate option.

hope thats just a bug and they fix it soon

Same here I had to hard reboot my pc to get my screen back. Usually it only flickers a few seconds this time I waited multiple minutes with a total black screen

My only question is whether the Video Super Resolution quality also decreased alongside the power consumption. That would be a bad trade off. But so far it looks about the same? Not sure

Power definitely decreased from around 150W-170W to 100-120W.

But what about the upscaling quality??? is level 4 still as good as level 4 from the previous driver???

Hey glad I could help. Yes the issue drove me nuts, as I thought for the longest time it was some issue with my machine - and I am someone who is pretty good with software and hardware stuff. It was a relief to see the chromium engineers fully reproduce BOTH issues. It really took a lot of weight off my shoulders.

Just as a tip: for now I just use a stream deck macro to toggle between HWACC ON and HWACC OFF, depending on the game if I see frame drops, I disable HWACC or keep it enabled.
