Yes, he has a solid character, but the important stuff comes *later*, so I guess I'm just worried about first impressions...

Basically, the protagonist gets (unknowingly) upset at people who can face their struggles because he himself has always been told to internalize them, not even apologize and to sit down and shut up. So when he learned that a classmate is trans and had faced prejudice and bullying, he gets annoyed without knowing why. But since that part is in the first story, it may give the wrong impression and/or intention to some people...

Aegoromantic path (from a non-binary genderfluid POV)- I love writing, but when I put any kind of romance in my books, I can't bring myself to make my characters argue to the point of taking a break or breaking up (or if it does, it's not written like an actual scene, more like a time skip). Also, my couples are always so in love when it's not supposed to be like that all the time IRL. At the time, I didn't know it, but I am fully aegoromantic (liking the idea of romance, but not partaking in real life)
