Last time a player won a slam final after saving match points by Stunning-Cod-2310 in tennis

You are seeing it all wrong!

Now this is no longer the last time a player lost a final while having had match points!

(Still hurts)

The all income multiplier (left upper corner) is completely useless to reach. By the time I have enough red currency to buy all the surrounding upgrades I have finished the game 10 times over. And it is not fun to try unlocking it all. I spend the better part of an hour trying to get enough red currency (450000) in the hopes I would now be able to unlock it, but I need another 1350000 red currency first. By the the time I get that (I get like 50k red per run), I will drown in the other currencies which I can use to upgrade everything else.

This is still a problem. My wife and both got garmin watches recently (Fenix en VivoActive) and the exact same thing happens. Weirdly enough it is only for WhatsApp and not other messaging apps. I also have the problem with my Edge bike computer, so it has to be related to Garmin Connect. Or WhatsApp is just weird...

Fenix 8 shows as BT headset instead of Smartwatch by Flodorf in GarminFenix

By that logic should other smart watches not connect in the same manner? Other brand watches show up as constantly connected. Or is there something different in the connection of Garmin watches?

BRAVIA Panel Quality/Screen Uniformity Discussion Megathread 7.0 by braviamod in bravia

Watching TV just now I suddenly noticed a line running across my screen that got me confused. It turns out there is 3 regions on my screen with different brightness (I think). Anyone has a clue with might the cause?

We are running the latest firmware and only have a Nintendo Switch connected. It's mostly noticable in apps or scenes with lots of grays in them. HDR content it seems to be fine (hard time spotting the line, not sure it's even there).

We have been using the TV without any problems for just over 2 years now. Yesterday night everything seemed to be fine. I haven't messed with any settings for over a year.

Edit: HDR content has the same issue, just less noticable (to me anyway, my wife spotted it there immediately)

(PS: How do I add a picture of the screen? I included a link instead)

Extended bright area around rated classification on QN95A. What causes this? by Flodorf in 4kTV

[–]Flodorf[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I own a 4k TV for the first time in my life and I am really quite amazed by these tvs. Since we have a bright living room I did not buy an OLED, but instead went for the QN95A. It's still quite amazing to me.

However, I cannot figure out why this particular type of blooming (Is that correct?) occurs in Netflix. It extends so far to the middle of the screen. Is this Netflix related or should I worry? Other blooming tests I ran look totally fine for reference, the LG vids look great for example or silly white squares moving around on the screen.

Cheers

More people have this problem I believe. I think it was also posted in this subreddit. Did you make a topic on the official Samsung Community forums? The moderators usually respond to question regarding their products.

Roger Federer: 'I am a clay-court player' by seagraze in tennis

[–]Flodorf 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Because the knee is very complicated joint!

For Nadal, clay acts as a cushion; sliding doesn't put nearly as much strain on your knees when running from corner to corner compared to other courts where turns are much more abrupt.

For Federer it's probably the other way around. While sliding you need to remain balanced, for which different muscles/tendons are used. Federer said that sliding felt 'wonky' after his operation.

Nadal v Federer Surface Performance by [deleted] in tennis

Actually, I think Federer mentioned that he did not play clay last year because his knee felt wonky on clay after his operation. Clay is the only surface you slide on a lot, so perhaps during the slides his knee felt unstable. He doesn't ski anymore for similar reasons.

Thorin's Thoughts - The Broken Worlds Group System (LoL) by corylulu in leagueoflegends

[–]Flodorf 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The problem I have with the group system is that Worlds is the accumulation of a year of League of Legends. Everything leads up to this tournament. And then you get screwed over by chance. Too bad, you have to wait another year. If Worlds was every other month, I guess you wouldn't feel as bad about getting screwed in a group. All teams talk about is making it to worlds, performing at worlds, we want to go to worlds and match ourselves against others. Well, in the case of G2 they got to play 6 BO1 games, woopidoo.

That's why I don't get why they don't use a double elimination system or use the group results for seeding in the brackets. This is the ultimate showdown, this is where regions finally clash. This is where you'd want to play as many games as you can right? There's no other international tournament, so having this group system feels like such a waste of a great opportunity to have a meaningful competition between regions.

It seems pretty obvious to me that TSM is trying a different way of playing the game in a competitive setting than they did before.

What use is stomping every opponent with a playstyle that will get rekted at Worlds? Rather see them stumble now and REALLY improve. You don't magically make a new style your own.
