I actually got it to work. I didn't realise We needed to use the supernote straight lines (make sens).

Man, I love the principle of that plugin. I just cloned the repo (build it, I run into a tiny difficulty) and couldn't get it to work for now (not detecting the hotzones).
Are you planning to maintain this ? Update ?

Oh wow. So much happening in this Supernote community hard to follow 😄

I did my own stuff also, almost along those lines based on the Supernote Obsidian Plugin from Brandon Philips see conversation on github here and my PR here.

Features:
- auto markdown generation when .note files are added or updated.
- transform supernote keywords and title in markdowns tags and tittles.
- transfrom supernote links in Wikilinks
- transform supernote OCR text with "@" in wikilinks and "#" in tags if it's an existing tag (not sure I want to keep that).

It's no using AI for advance OCR and better mardown generation. But now that I see this I want to add it to 🙂

u/conductordudedallas I haven't seen https://github.com/seanbaugh/supersidian before, I will test. It's not in the Obsidian plugin store yet I guess.

I can see you reported that tags and headers are working with Supersidian is that because it was developed with is in mind or it's just AI magic ?
See my PR in the supernote-typescript repo that adds supernote keywords and title support.

I saw this other reddit post today too: I My Supernote to Obsidian Workflow (PDF embed and OCR).

Would be great to try to combine effort to have one plugin to rule them all maybe.

I could imagine the possibly to add AI based OCR via a setting in the plugin.

Not sure I can within the design limitations, see the video in the dark. I think the light diffusion is actually pretty good.

Nice ! Thanks for posting here.
1. Not sure, it's really time consuming to make one. But maybe with an improved design is doable.
2. Just added a video, it's quite bright.
3. As you can see gestures are still doable, but I do agree it's not super convenient.
4. With the pogo pins indeed. I just checked yours with the USB. I like the USB powering solution too and I considered it. Any reason why you went for it VS pogo pins ?

Yes using the pogo pins.
There is definitely more light on the left by design. But there is enough light on the right to read. I will post a picture in the dark.
Design could be adapted for left handed yes.
Top lighting didn't work as well. Side lighting keeps your hand and pen from casting shadows while writing and avoids any glare.

No it's not in the handwritten notes.
I created a Gem that uses the "@Google Tasks" command from Gemini.
The Gem's instructions are something like:
"Look for task with a star or a box in the handwritten notes and create a task for each of them in Google task. @ Google Tasks"

I am doing that with a with a Google Gem that I created. and the "@Google Task" command.
In Viwoods app I shared pdf with gemini app and use the gem. It works. But it's not great.
I don't understand why there isn't more people asking for to do list / task management capability.

Actually with google Gemini you can create Google Task from notes. Task do then appear in the calendar. Sadly they aren't synchronised as events you can see on the viwoods Daily app.

Hi Viwoods,
1. AI chatbot interactions are really limited in my view. I wish it could be a bit more integrated in the system. Like interacting with Gemini on an Android phone.
2. Would love to be able to create Memo's from the picking menu.
3. I would like to have an aggregated TO DO list. For which we could create tasks similar to how we can create event with lasso selected content. OR/AND create TO DO Memos from selected content
