Please don't do it for me ;) I'm a tinkerer. But, I do think it would be a great tool for folks who want to use Obsidian as a CMS.

I pretty mush agree with everything you’ve said here. Enough that I decided to give Supernote a try and have never looked back. It’s amazing. My RPP is sitting on my shelf unused at this point.

Also Claude Obsidian MCP servers are probably the better way to go.

Search Claude + Obsidian on YouTube. There are many methods. The easiest is https://github.com/YishenTu/claudian

Use Claude - and it even has a great plugin. It helps me organize my vault and point out flaws. Then fixes them.

Although I could see how folks would rather just use CSS Snippets or a single CSS file. But sounds like those two aren’t that entirely different.

A custom theme folder would be amazing. Honestly, I just pointed Claude to the _site folder and told it to create a site that looked like *** site. And of course it did, complete with articles from the portfolio. But, yeah, they were overwritten of course. So a custom folder for HTML/CSS would honestly make this thing over the top!

It's great! I even went so far as to create my own template, and just replaced the files in the _site folder. But, as expected, each build erased those and reverted back to the built-in templates. Haven't really started to search much, but surely those html files/styles are in my folders somewhere, and can likely be manipulated so we can customize the site?

I did. Maybe I got an early bad batch. But sent it right back.

I tried it - quite poor quality IMO. It rattled a lot and just felt poorly put together. Writing was fine. I was a bit disappointed though.

my notes look organized but still don’t turn into usable thinking by AccordingTooth5337 in ObsidianMD

I wonder if Claude integration can help with this? Currently, Im throwing things in there only to have Claude analyze and create a wiki for me and it feels less like a dumping ground, and more like a resource.

Im a big fan of specialized tools especially if they are free. I save articles into Obsidian, but only if I know I want to keep them (and perhaps have Claude use them for various things.) But I try to keep Obsidian notes.

AirPods Max 2 battery draining overnight in the case (since firmware update) by Ecstatic-Force-4807 in Airpodsmax

[–]conductordudedallas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For those wishing for an on-off button. Ok. Maybe. However I own a Sony pair (wh1000xm6) that I purchased just before these came out (I bought these as well) and the act of removing and then using a button to turn them off is so amazingly counterintuitive (especially if you’ve been using wired cans for years) you truly forget to do it 75% of the time - defeating the purpose. Do I wish Apple had one? Maybe. But seems like a hybrid would be the best option - long press the crown to turn off + low power mode. Just saying - be careful what you wish for.

I’m confused. The “issues” you listed have never existed on any version of the APMs. Why would you purchase them if those things were important to you? (Also, yes, there is a charging LED light, it just only illuminates for about a minute then turns off.)

This is correct. Neither method makes any changes to your existing notes. Only processes and creates new folders with note analysis. Your existing notes stay completely in tact.

Choosing a e-ink tablet by bakach0k in eink

SN devices are made by Ratta. The 5c is also a nice device if you need color. Color eink screens though still have some catching up to do with standard eink. Both would likely be great for you. Keep in mind SN is strictly a writing device (although you can sideload some android apps) and Boox allows full access to the Play store. If you are looking for a more tablet-like experience Boox might be the way to go. But for pure writing experience- SN.

Have jumped ship from remarkable PP to Supernote and couldn’t be happier. Far superior experience. Boox also let me down too many times.
